“They don't call this place a secret for nothing. It's the definition of 'if you know you know' type of place. Secret Thai is a hidden gem in Chalmette, Louisiana. Now I have only gotten my food to go but the ambiance is inviting, very colorful with plenty of plants. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are ridiculously large. I always get the drunken noodles and I can eat off of it for days! I also recommend their Thai tea, so rich and creamy. The prices are very low considering your portion size. The service is good but they take a long time. I recommend calling in advance with your order. Also, food is spicy so make sure you request the right amount of spice for your tastebuds. Located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking available.“

“I prefer quality over quantity. They had to bring me a second dish to put the food on because the plates are too small I don't know what the deal is with that. The quantity of food was more than one person should eat at any time. I haven't eaten here since around covid happened I'm sure they have some good dishes I may be back to try them. I had the hamburger steak with gravy and onions it was probably a pound of meat. I think I ate about six bites. It was okay. The grilled onions were undercooked. The brown gravy tasted like something out of a can. I hope to choose better next time I visit. The people were awesome in the service line and the waitress was excellent too.“

“The beignets were great very airy, not too sweet make sure to eat them fresh. The omelette was create your own but good ingredients overall. The French toast had a very prominent vanilla flavor and was very sweet but very good. The burrito chimichanga style was amazing. The burrito was very greasy should come with some salsa on the side too to cut through that. The side of hash browns was the real star in all honesty so airy and crispy the best I've ever had.The service was quick and constant attention. The tables are weirdly close together which is interesting.“

“The service was excellent. The atmosphere is kind of boring. The fake bacon bits in the salad are not what I expected. The baked potato was done well. I had the chicken breast which was good. I did like the little bit of topping sauce for the chicken on the side. The garlic bread was good too.“
