“My husband and I decided to try this based on previous reviews during a quick trip from Pennsylvania..so glad we came here. The food is AWESOME! I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had the Shrimp Etouffee. He also had the Chicken and Sausage Gumbo as an appetizer. We shared a side of Red Beans and Rice....all were delicious! And to top it all off for my birthday, I ordered the Tiramisu...it was a huge piece and also delicious. Our server, Mason, was so attentive and polite. Definitely give this place a try...you won't be disappointed.“

“My first time at Perino's Restaurant and thought that they have a very clever way with their menu. Instead of having 20 or 30 different sandwiches listed on their menu, you buy a basket of food let's say you get a basket of shrimp or fish. If you want to make a sandwich out of it they charge you like less than $3 and you get two pieces of French bread, lettuce, tomato and pickles and you just make it yourself. Condiments are on the table to add yourtself as well. I thought to myself how genius this is and certainly cuts back on the number of items on the menu. It certainly cuts back on any issues with my sandwich wasn't dressed correctly.I love the atmosphere and the wait staff was super friendly.I'll be back for sure.“

“These are my people!!! The owners son and daughter, Tim and Lauren are always the best at being helpful. I had recently had a baby and would always order from them. They started to walk out the food to my car every time I ordered!! The owner, who I call the mom, is the one who got mad at me for not even telling her that I had a baby!! That I shouldn't be taking her out of the car and I should've just asked them to take it to my car. So the relationship with them started there and has became the best ever since. They are genuinely great people. What I order on a weekly basis is the chicken spring rolls. They're great. Their peanut sauce is the absolute best! Their pho is always great as well. The place is supper clean and organized. It's always full of people every time you walk in! Make sure this is your go-to spot for pho in the Westbank!“
“I went here by chance because my parents wanted some fried tofu. Tofu House literally has everything I want for a snack or a full blown meal...banh mi, fried tofu, warm tofu with syrup and coconut milk, fried bananas, banana rice cakes, che, etc...My favorite was the warm tofu with syrup. My other close second favorite was the fried bananas! They are huge and crispy with the sweetest bananas on the inside. I think Tofu House is the only one selling these snacks here in the NOLA area. I'll be back to try their banh mi and other sweet treats!“

“My family and I love, love, love to eat here. Feels like family! Our server is always nice and helpful, and always get our orders correct. The serving portions are excellent. Pricing is a bit high, but it's made up for by service, cleanliness, and the amount of food. Plus, the bathrooms are always available.“

“I grew up in NYC loving the food in Chinatown, so when a local friend suggested we have lunch at Hong Minh in nearby Harvey, I thought "oh no, suburban Chinese food... blah." I quickly shed my preconceptions once food started arriving at our barebones table in a plain-Jane dining room in this nondescript strip mall. Dang! This is easily up there with the best Chinese food you'll find anywhere in the country. Highlights include BBQ pork, roasted duck, salt & pepper string beans and Singapore mei fun. I asked one of the owners who was taking a break from hacking up roast ducks what part of China they were from and he said "Hong Kong and Taiwan, NOT China." Take that, China and preconceptions!“

“I have been wanting to eat Bun Bo Hue and my friend brought me here claiming their Bun Bo Hue is very good. It indeed was. Had great flavor. It didn't disappoint. I asked for mild but next time I might try medium spice. Love their crab ragoons. My friend got the vermicelli bowl which looked great. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.“

“My husband and I dined in for a lunch date and the service was impeccable. Theles, the host, set the tone upon entry; Dominique, our server, made sure that we were taken care of; and Tylus, the manager, made sure that we were enjoying our experience and the food. We are so thankful for our Awesome experience and will be back!“

“I've been eating here since I was a kid. It is the best Chinese food I've ever had. I always get the combination Lo-mein (no veggies, extra sauce, spicy). It reminds me of being a kid and eating with my family. The family that's owns the restaurant are great and always helpful and they treat regulars like there own family and that is all u can ask for from a great local restaurant. I live on the north shore now but will literally drive an hour just to visit and enjoy the taste of my childhood.“

“I found this place online and I'm glad I did! The potatoes are bigger than my head and delicious. I just ordered the Taysom Taylor and this thing is jammed packed full of meats and barbeque sauce, Yum! I'll definitely be trying their whole menu and they're gonna get to know me.“

“Texas Roadhouse is a staple if you want a good time. That's why it's so busy. They can have a wait that will mean you will need to plan ahead of time. The atmosphere is a little loud, definitely a fun affair that you won't have to worry about keeping things down. Which is good because we have been struggling to take our kids out of late. Check in online so you won't have to wait as long. We had a wait of an hour and a half. We knocked out some shopping and came right on time then we're seated in less than 20 min. The rolls were great as always, always order kids meals first maybe even ahead of time so they are already eating and you can breath to order yours. The house made ranch was a little thick, too much sour cream I think and both steaks came out less done than requested. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but I expected more. I will have to see if they do better next time. Our server was great and the manager was very understanding and saved the experience.Parking: It is a big shopping center. Especially around dinner time you could literally park a plane.Kid-friendliness: Your kids will love the animals and the country atmosphere. Might be a little loud but my little ones were okay with it. Bring a coat in case your near a vent. Crayons and paper a must. Order kids meals first. Don't judge!“

“I’ve been driving by Big Poppa’s for quite some time and finally decided to stop by for a late lunch and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the Big Poppa Buger and Sweet Potato Fries. The burger was definitely home made and was perfectly made with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and bacon. The Sweet Potato Fries were sprinkled with a cinnamon sugar and brilliantly served with a cream cheese dip. The server who took my order was also amazing and continued to check on me through my meal. I will definitely be going back!“

“On a rainy, blustery night in New Orleans, we found this small friendly restaurant. The food was what you would expect from a good Mexican restaurant. The waiter was very social and focused on his customers. Just what we needed on a stormy night.“

“I thought the food was really good and came fast at a good price. They gave me enough salsa I did have to ask for more. They gave me four tortillas with the fajitas where most places give you three. I asked for hot sauces and she asked what one do you want and named off at least four or five before I agreed to Yucatán green habanero. It was really fast and great friendly service. Cool decorations too“

“Lunch time with Co-workers. The place is comfortable and the Service was awesome. The food was just ok. Had the shrimp tempura lunch, didn't really enjoy it (too greesy), the rice was delicious though. Also had the Boston sushi roll, it was good. I would go back to try something different. All over I give them a 4 out of 5.“

“We were grabbing a quick bite with friends before heading back to St. Louis. We had to wait about 30 min., but it was worth it. We.had the brunch buffet. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety & the quality of food. The prime rib was cooked three different ways (med, medium rare & closer to rare). The horseradish sauce was the best I've ever had. It was creamy, smooth & perfectly blended. The cheese.grits were great, as well as the mashed sweet potatoes. There are too many things to compliment on. The service was fantastic by Emily our server. We also enjoyed conversing with De'Andre who was manning the carving table. We talked prime rib for a while. Thanks for the great food, service & wonderful lunch.“
