“The gas here is cheaper than the other retailers the problem is the crowd waiting in line is so unorganized that you have to wait more than needed to get to the pump. I have four stars because an employee should assist with traffic instead of sitting inside the little building.“
“20240331 The beignets are good, a little dense, and filling. I have wanted to stop here the last 2 days, and I went to Coffee Call and also PJ'S Coffee New Orleans in Lafayette. PJ'S beignets are flakey and the best compared to this place and Coffee Call. The employees are more on the quiet side and polite. The hot chocolate is good, not as sweet as Coffee Call. I'm glad I stopped by before heading home.“
“My grandmother, mother and daughters went to the Tea Room on Saturday for lunch and tea. We’ve been several times before since they have reopened and honestly in the past when it’s been busy they just didn’t seem to have the staff to handle the crowd.However this last time I noticed they updated their menu and seemed to have everything down! It wasn’t busy but the sever Hayden was great and even though we were complicated with the kids he made sure our order was right. The atmosphere has always been wonderful and quaint. The kids love wearing the dress up hats and picking fancy tea cups. The tea is phenomenal and I even bought some to take home. It’s main purpose of course is a tea room so if you’re looking for a big lunch then it’s not what you want. But if you want a cute, cozy, friendly, spot of afternoon tea with light food and desserts they are PERFECT! We will continue to stop in for tea!!“
“Great food, great service, great value. Gluten free menu was excellent. I had the lemon blueberry pancakes and the hubby got an omelette from the regular menu. Portions are large. Chloe, our waitress was very attentive but not intrusive. She provided a great experience. I would highly recommend.“

“I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. We walked in and it feels like you're at a friend's house with Nanny welcoming us at the door to the yummy food. They were so kind and generous. The owners loved on our kiddo and made us feel so comfortable even when he was being a bit much. ( Typically he does great but we had a 5 hour car rideandsome extra energy) I had the Pancakes grits eggs and bacon, my hubby has an omelette. It was generous portions and so very yummy!!! This is a definite do over!! Thank you to the ladies for making us feel like part of your family!!“
“Daiquiri Cafe has some of the best daiquiris in town. The Pink Panther which is a mixture of two of their daiquiris is literally EVERYTHING! I ordered a gallon for $29 for a holiday party and everyone loved it. On the weekends at night this place turns into a party spot. It's great if you would love to dance the night away.“
“Billie Jean’s Cafe is a hidden gem in Baton Rouge. The food is some of the best Soul Food in the area, hands down. The place is tucked away in a shopping center. It’s got a cool atmosphere with music and awesome people working behind the counter. I always feel welcomed and the food is top notch. The service is quick, made to order, reasonably priced, with daily plate lunch options to choose from. I’ve eaten here multiple times and have chosen different lunch options, they have not let me down yet! Definitely a good lunch spot and I would recommend it to anyone. The Mac and Cheese is absolutely worth the drive. Also try the chicken and waffles. The spices they use on the chicken are so good.“

“Locally owned cafe on Greenwell Springs Road in N Baton Rouge area, almost to Central. I've been here twice and had to get the delicious shrimp Poboy both times! I'm a critic of Poboy bread, but this one I love. I don't bother to get fries, but since these are included (and quite yummy), I gobble them up too! I hope to try the breakfast menu one day but haven't found myself in the area at that time yet. As far as I can tell, Cafe Jeanpierre is a one woman show! Again, I've only been there twice, but both times it's just the owner. She's quick to get the orders made and polite. No small talk, but that's perfectly okay. She also has lots of plants she tends to in the window that I love to admire. I first heard about this cafe several years ago in the news, so I'm glad I've finally doin it and been able to appreciate the awesome reputation. It's located in a strip mall on a major road, so make sure to GPS it to not miss it! I definitely recommend supporting this local biz; trust me, your tastebuds will thank you!“
“I am STOKED to have found out they sell King Cakes ALL YEAR. You have to order in advance of course but they’re definitely worth it. Especially since they sell half Turtle half regular. You can’t beat that! Also great donuts and other pastries!“
