“Place doesn’t look like much from the outside but on the inside it was amazing. Very first class Italian restaurant for 2nd class money. Every little touch was perfect from the bread to the meatballs and spaghetti! I would highly recommend for any person looking for a first class Italian restaurant in Mandeville!“
“LA Madeleine's serves French cuisine and includes a French bakery. The setup is cafeteria style, where you move down a line making choices for your meal.Vegetarian options: Beautiful salads are available, and a few options can be made vegetarian.“
“I absolutely love this hidden gem in downtown covington. The baristas are super friendly and their food is all made in house. The atmosphere is also very calm, making it the perfect spot to study or have a coffee date. Absolutely love their variety on the menu and their gluten free options!Dietary restrictions: They are so knowledgeable about food allergies and different dietary needs. They have options for everyone here.“
“So far, we like all the food we've had here. I must recommend the Reuben sandwich on marble rye. My wife's eggs Benedict were well prepared though the Hollandaise sauce has a certain sour twang which might be off-putting to some. We are beginning to frequent this place.“
“Adding to the already glowing reviews of this outstanding Northshore bakery. Born and raised in New Orleans, this place has the best king cake. I think about it all year. Light and fluffy, pastry style with just enough sweetness to keep you coming back for more (without getting sick of the sugar). Their almond croissants are little slices of heaven. Perfectly done quiches, pastries. Really awesome guava hand pies and specialty brisket dishes. Try the breakfast sandwich, yesterday. You know those artful meals that reset you as a human being? The ones that make you reflect on the good things in life simply by tasting them? This place does that for me. When I go in to Tournesol I get the sense that I could be anywhere in the world. I'm so glad we have you here on the Northshore.“
“I'm start off positive, the iced coffee is incredible. The restaurant itself and the overall vibe was great. This may be an unpopular opinion and it is only based on a single meal I've had, but this food is aggressively mediocre. The croissant is ok, eggs were fine, bacon severely overcooked, and grits were ok. None of the food has salt, which is easily remedied but everything has a flavor of neutral tones. No bitter on the grits but the croissant was dripping with it.This may seem like a nitpick, but $11 for a sandwich and side doesn't feel worth it.The menu has plenty of other options that I would like to try but considering the price I'm very skeptical“
