“We come to Louisiana once a year and usually have a large family gathering at Los Mayas. We went last night with a party of 17 with a few children, our waitress seemed very over whelmed and was a bit rude even though she had plenty of support staff to assist her, the food was good however lots of confusion when the meals came out. Their kids menu features a cheese quesadilla with rice & beans or fries, we asked the waitress do they offer a kids chicken quesadilla she said yes and asked did we want fajita chicken or shredded, we asked for shredded chicken, however she failed to tell us that there was onions and peppers in their chicken, not sure why they would think a child would want onions and peppers; when the meals came out she brought us 2 cheese quesadillas we should have just kept. I don't think we will be back the food and drinks where good but again lots of mix up with our food and other members in our party having food issues. DeRidder has a bunch of other Mexican restaurants we go to Los Mayas as they can accommodate a larger crowd. My aunt and uncle used to go there all the time and have many issues so they don't eat there anymore as well, they are locals.”

“I love that it's in a old house. I got the burger and it was amazing. Could tell it was a handmade patty and cooked/smoked on a grill instead of a flat top. Wait was a bit but worth it. This is real food made by real people. This aint wendys so you gunna pay for the food. Worth it

“There are coffee shops and then there’s Coffee Connection. I’ve had at least 80 experiences and ALL of them were great! They even have sugar free options! I love the staff and the owner. We are so blessed to have a local refuge like this in town.”

“Recently visited this restaurant on a trip to DeRidder. They have daily lunch specials, so we went with that. Everything on the salad bar was fresh. We had the Fried Fish & Shrimp Combo. Everything came out hot & delicious. The fish was fried perfectly. The portions were not big, but they were just enough. The sweet tea that comes with the lunch special was good as well. We enjoyed our meal and will visit again😋”
