“I wish I could rate higher! Mr. Michael was so kind. I tried almost every ice cream flavor and they were DELICIOUS! 100/10. My top flavors were: blueberry basil, creole cream cheese, almond peach petit four, coffee, it was beyond good! I can’t wait to go back. The prices are amazing too.“
“Worth the drive to hit this spot. Snow balls are delicious and such fun flavors. Still using original equipment to make our sweet treat. I went with the recommendation and LOVED IT. Glad I don't live near Hansens. I'd be there everyday. Highly recommend“
“Really interesting and fun spot with lots of character! So many unique flavors, classics with their own twist, and regular flavors as well. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu! I had a single scoop of lavender ube and it was smooth and delicious with an intricate flavors profile. I’d also like to point out that they make all their ice creams in the back of the store!Vegetarian options: They do have some non dairy options, and they are clearly marked on their menu. You can also ask your server about any dietary restrictions you may have.“
“Delicious ice cream. Rich and creamy with interesting favors. The sampler box is such a great idea. Choose 4 scoops served in a container that separates each in its own section. Unfortunately forgot to take a photo of it. They also have ice cream sandwiches and bars. Truly one of the best ice creams I have had.“
“Piccola Gelateria makes the best gelato outside of Italy hands down. Every flavor that I have tried has been spot on and has the perfect level of sweetness and smoothness. The service is always impeccable and friendly and the quality of the gelato is unmatched. If you happen to visit the shop while the King Cake gelato is available, do yourself a favor and get a cup and then a pint to bring home like I did. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with any flavor or two or three.“
“Um. Wow. This place is phenomenal, and the ladies running it are so kind and lovely. My sister and I both got the soft serve flavor of the week, cookies and cream, in affogato form. It had their vegan whipped cream, crushed Oreos, and an Oreo on top. Extremely pleased and it was absolutely delicious, especially with their house blend espresso that they even grinded right in front of us!! 1,000% recommended on every level.“
“Excellent ice cream and plenty of flavors from which to choose. My favorite ice cream is rum raisin. Not many places serve this flavor these days, and it is almost impossible to find in grocery stores. Angelo Brocato has an excellent Rum Raisin.“
“The most delicious ice-cream anywhere around. We routinely order the Cookie Monster (aka cookies n cream) and couldn't be happier. What makes the Rahm Haus Cookie Monster extra cool is that it's colored blue and the blue color doesn't come from food coloring, but rather "blue spirulina phycocyanin" which is a type of blue algae. The flavor has a generous amount of cookie in it and is creamy, both of which I appreciate. The service is great too. The woman who waited on us was extremely professional, informative and otherwise friendly. The ambiance is charming. It's located in the Merchant House and the vibe is that of a trendy outside bar. We love it.“
“We went there for our anniversary, got the Versace room, we had a very specific request that required them to surprise my wife and they pulled it off flawlessly. The place has a great vibe, awesome offerings and it was altogether an unforgettable experience. We will be back! Thank you so much to Drip for making it one of the best nights we have ever had in 20 years of marriage.“
“Very good French sweet shops! We went two times and had vallina, chocolate, mango gelato . And had one chocolate eclair and one macaroon. The quality was so good and definitely have to try it!And also want to share they offer very nice and very clean bathroom here, the waitress was very friendly.“
“I want everyone to know that they have the best chocolate with condensed milk snowball I have ever had. Believe me I’m a chocoholic lol I know chocolate. This is the first time we have been there and most definitely will not be my last. Absolutely amazing! The staff was extremely friendly as well.“
“We stopped in on a Monday evening for a little something after dinner. We bought a simple vanilla waffle(not the bubble style) cone. The vanilla ice cream is pretty good, but no surprise, the waffle cone was the star. You could tell it was fresh since it was so crisp. And it was cooked to perfection! My only big issue was the music playing. It was so loud and obnoxious! They call out the orders when they're finished, but it was very hard to hear. I have no problem with some house music, but I believe it should be at a lower level to help the staff and customers communicate.“
“We went to this place after seeing a tik tok about their Italian ice slushies. They’re right down the street from the fairgrounds. The atmosphere wasn’t entirely welcoming to us and parking was tough like every other good place in New Orleans but I’d go again when in the mood for delicious Italian ice slushies. Yummy!!“
“What a GEM! Just happened to pull into the lot this past Friday to check them out, and so glad I did! Tried the Gelato and it was very flavorful and satisfying. Took home a beautiful braided loaf of bread and it was a big hit with our pasta dinner on Sunday. Today I tried the chicken salad sandwich on super freshly baked focaccia bread, and it was just superb. If you love turtle cookies, you'll have to try theirs.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly for sure.“
“We had Imperial Woodpecker Snoballs at our wedding and we were impressed with their service and product. Half of my guests were locals, and they were pleased with the flavors. The other half of guests were from all over the world, and they had the best experience. They were also very communicative during the planning process. My husband and I did not have time during the wedding to get a snowball, but everyone we interacted with had one in their hands, some were even spiked by our bar. I would highly recommend them, especially during the hot months.“
“This place is a relaxing chilled out vibe, cool little rear patio ares if you want to hang out when the weather is nice. The first thing that hit me when we walked in the place was the awesome smell of brown suggar and butter cooking. Great location with plenty of nearby parking, where it should not be a concern if you are driving to this location.I can only imagine the gentlemen that served us was the owner, because he took great pride in sampling his creations, and explaining the ingredients. For example I am not a fan of cookie dough, but after sampling it I was won over...this place elevated ice-cream to a gourmet meal, with the cooks combination of ingredients it was a delight change of flavor profiles.I was fortunate to order my ice cream on a waffle cone. The cone was the true treat of thos experience, it was not to sweet, not to crisp, but perfectly cooked someplace between crisp and chewy, with a hint of vanilla.I think I have found a go to spot for relaxing and some high quality ice-cream...hats off to the cheff!“
“soft ice, juicy snowballs, friendly staff, and great prices! Can’t recommend them enough, I pass probably 5 snowball stands on my way to them from Metairie and it’s completely worth it!I recommend the nectar crème double stuffed with cheesecake ?“
“We delight in Todd’s as a family more than I care to admit. You can’t beat the friendly service, frozen cappuchinos, and yogurt. I buy their yogurt by the quarts (great price)! I’ve even had to run in at closing time with my spoon in my hand and they were happy to make sure I didn’t run out of favorite cream cheese and chocolate. Love Todd’s!!!!!!!“
“Lavender honey & glazed donut shake with graham cracker. The mill used came through super strong. Stronger than the flavors of the ice cream. I could taste the glazed donut flavor post shake, more of an after taste like “Ah, there it is!” Paid about $9. Nice place, variety of flavors.“
“Stopped by after dinner to satisfy my sweet tooth. They offer some crazy flavor combinations that I would never expect yet they somehow work. I enjoyed trying the different flavors. The gal who served me was so kind friendly and patient while I figured out what I wanted. There is a sign explaining a 3 sample limit, and I didn't see it until after my 8th sample probably, but she never once gave me a dirty look or refused me a sample. I did apologize to her for not seeing the sign and asking for more samples. She was completely sweet about it and did not make any kind of deal over it. And this place was jam packed with a line out the door and she was still the best. Awesome customer service! I highly recommend this place for dessert. It was a bit noisy because there were so many people inside, but other than that, fantastic place“
“If I could give this atmosphere a 10 star- I would! Every holiday is just magically with amazing decor. I love this place. Coffee choices 5/5, gelato is 5/5! Breakfast 10/10- the waffle was the best I’ve ever had. Bagels were fine but the breakfast croissant was “
“My experience at Popbar in the heart of New Orleans was a delightful foray into the world of artisanal frozen treats. This quaint establishment offers an array of popsicles with a twist – you can choose from sorbet, yogurt, or gelato bases and then personalize them with various chocolate coatings and a plethora of toppings.I decided to try the strawberry sorbetto popsicle, aiming for a refreshing and fruity treat. To add a dash of indulgence, I coated it in dark mint chocolate and topped it off with graham cookies. The strawberry sorbetto was a standout, offering a burst of fresh, tangy strawberry flavor that was both refreshing and satisfying. It was a perfect antidote to the New Orleans heat. However, the dark mint chocolate didn't quite hit the mark. While its texture was rich and complemented the sorbetto well, it lacked the minty punch I was anticipating. This was a minor disappointment in an otherwise delightful treat. The addition of graham cookies was a masterstroke, providing a crunchy contrast to the smooth sorbetto and chocolate. This mix-and-match approach to building your popsicle is what makes Popbar a unique and engaging experience.Aside from their signature popsicles, Popbar also offers other menu items, but the customizable popsicles are undoubtedly the main attraction. The ambiance of the place is cheerful and inviting, contributing to a pleasant dessert experience. In conclusion, Popbar offers a novel and enjoyable take on frozen desserts. Their concept of customizable popsicles, where you can mix and match flavors and toppings, is both fun and inventive. Even though the dark mint chocolate could use a little more mint flavor, the overall experience was delightful. Popbar is a must-try spot in New Orleans for anyone looking for a refreshing and creative dessert option.“
“We were looking for food between bar hops. Fat Boy's was perfect. The pantry cheeseburger, the Havana, and the fries were all fantastic. They could not have been any better and the prices were reasonable. The outdoor dining was clean & safe. My only regret was we did not discover this place until our last night in New Orleans, otherwise we would have been back.“
“I came all the way from out of town and stopped by this nice young lady Ashley helped me out very nice respectful also she was helping all the other stations while making sure I had everything I needed I was very grateful I’ll most definitely come back she rocks“
“We stopped by NOLA Mia right when they opened, before watching the Acro Cats at the Cabaret next door. It was a cute place, local art for sale on the walls. The service was friendly and fast. We got a total of three slices, garlic knots and two drinks for about $22. The slices were huge and flavorful as were the garlic knots. We didn't try the gelato because we didn't want to be totally miserable during the show BUT it looked REALLY good. I would definitely recommend checking out NOLA Mia's if you're in the area - they have sandwiches and salads as well - the menu has a lot of options!“
“This is a unique ice cream shop with so much to choose from! Chocolate covered bananas, Popsicles, ice cream, Gelato, shakes, fruit, chips covered in nacho cheese ... something for everyone! The shop has happy, bright colors and a place to sit and enjoy both inside and outside of the building. Give it a shot! Delicious!“
“Mister Apple in New Orleans is a delightful gem for anyone with a sweet tooth. I recently tried their Blue Bell rainbow sherbet, and it was a fantastic treat. The sherbet itself was creamy and bursting with vibrant, fruity flavors. But the standout feature at Mister Apple is their extraordinary variety of flavored marshmallows. Each marshmallow comes in a unique flavor, offering a fun and delicious twist to the dessert. Alongside these tasty marshmallows, the store also offers a wide range of other sweets like succulent pralines, rich chocolate, fudgy brownies, and crisp cookies. The atmosphere in the store is welcoming and cheerful, complemented by a friendly and helpful staff. Whether you're a local or just passing through New Orleans, Mister Apple is a must-visit spot for an unforgettable sweet experience.“
“This is the only place I'm willing to get a snowball anymore. The employees are always wonderful, its family owned and operated. The prices are great. The snowballs are always well syrup-ed and full of flavor.Their cheesecake stuffing is top notch.Even in the cold months, I find myself craving their snowballs and counting the days until they reopen.“
“I had ordered cookies, and after an hour they still weren't delivered turn out the driver had brought them to the wrong house. Not only did they refund my money but they sent out another order. The manager was very nice and understanding.“
“Love what these two ladies have built over the years here in St. Rose! The menu is huge with unbelievable options of goodies and treats to choose from and most often delicious.I'll keep my fifth star because the exterior and seating need a serious upgrade, especially with the eye sore attached to the building. At minimum wash down the dust and webs from the signage and remove old signage debris from the fence. A little love goes a long way.“
“This location only accepts cash. I tried to go to a nearby ATM and had issues. I will pay them in double for what they sold me when I'm paid next. Don't expect the same. I am so very grateful that they trusted me. I will pay well. The flavors... Bruh. It'll have you drop to your knees!! Especially in this hot weather??“
“The lady was really helpful and patient with helping us decide what we wanted, since we weren't familiar with the products. It was obvious that they were busy but she never made us feel uncomfortable or rush us. She also gave us extra to taste after our purchases!! My best customer service experience in forever. Thank you!!!“
“I had never been there before but acquired a serious case of munchies right before they closed. I had to have a banana split, and I was impressed, amazed, and quite satisfied. Friendly people and a large variety of toppings. Good quality ice cream also. I'll be back.“
“YUM! I wanted something sweet after walking all around the French Quarter so we googled and found this spot just a few blocks from where we were. No line, friendly lady inside, I ordered the standard hot fudge sundae (no brownie) with nuts and whipped cream and a cherry. NOM! The texture of the frozen custard was rich and creamy like I like it and the sundae was the perfect size for sharing with my husband. We enjoyed it!“
“New location and products make for an even tastier experience.I am a little disappointed in the variety of macaroon ice creams they have in their new location versus the unlimited variety that were available before the relocation. But I am happy they are back and still have flavors I love.Their classic and nutella and strawberry waffles are super tasty and give you so many textures that it's like a party in your mouth. The bubble waffles are also a favorite for my kids' as this is a treat they ask for often when near the location.I highly recommend Sweet Handkraft as it stole my heart and is continuing to satisfy my growing taste buds years later.“
“Ok full honest review I loved how fast they move the prices were good I love the seating area where u sit the parking was good the only improvement I would say I like juicy snowballs I would prefer them a little bit juicer but I love how their ice cream flavor was like a creamy taste“
“Today my family and I visited this hidden gem and were thoroughly impressed! I’ve ordered banana splits before but I was pleasantly surprised at the size, taste and prices here. Where have you been all of my Westbank residency? The drive-thru was an added perk, I’ll be back you can believe that! Thanks, you all deserve 5+ stars!Parking: There’s ample parking spaces and a well maintained drive-thru.“
“It's snowball season and David and I had a craving on Mother's Day. I was so glad that this stand was open. The line was long but it moved fast so I got my nectar with not a long wait. The ice is fine and soft like it's supposed to be and the owners are friendly.“
“My favorite business to support are neighborhood shops. They are the pillars of our communities. They understand the economic obstacles locals face and step up to deliver quality farm to table products at affordable prices. Places like this earn our trust and will be a place your kids will bring their kinds one day. A place that you can use as a landmark to give directions to locals and tourists alike. These businesses connect our families to one another because they are family. Gail's Fine Ice Cream is a bright, new ice cream shop that is sure to become a staple of the Lakeview area. The customer service is fantastic. They give great recommendations. Gail's top priority though is their ingredients. The freshness of the product is key. I had a Satsuma sorbet and a Blackberry with crumbled cornbread scoop. They use local harvest in their product. That is a nice touch. Gail's has a nice variety of flavors. They have nostalgic flavors from our childhood too like Little Monsters and milk and cookies. The offer signature drinks too. The Lavender Chai Iced Coffee was delicious. The design of the stand is comfy and inviting. The days down here are hot, so if you are looking for a local treat that can cool you down. Get to Lakeview near City Park and have yourself a Gail's.“
“This Sno Ball place has to be the BEST in the City. ?????????????2-25-24I’ve had nearly everything on their menu. Their ICE is consistently SOFT; the food is FAVORABLY consistent. A small Family business with a big BOOM of Service. May they continue to Bless thru serving others……… ?????“
“Mr Quintin is the best and he is very professional. He is at some festivals and a Vendor for some Restaurants. His ice cream is something serious. So good and fun to eat . The Caramel Cinamon and the Salty Caramel makes you want to Savor the Flavor .Hubby and I had the pleasure of Mr Quintin having a booth at the Bayou Boogaloo Festival .Hubby, Kids , and I enjoyed our treats as all ways . Thank you Mr Quintin .“
“Small shop with 1 worker. Friendly. I had the red velvet cheesecake sno ball to try it out. Usually we go to sal's sno ball stand in Metairie but they close over winter and since I was visiting I was delighted to find a place open ?I enjoyed it. Definitely different than I'm used to But a good experience. Probably won't go back unless sals is closed but if you live in that area I would give them a try!My mom had the chocolate cream in kids size and didn't like it as much as sal's but it is just a different style.“
“We stopped at this cute little place on the way back home and they had plenty of ice cream and snack options. We LOVED the churros, they are so fresh and delicious we ate it all before we could get a picture but we highly recommend if you do give this place a try. My son enjoyed his super man ice cream. My mangos with chamoy & tajin was also good.“
“I am going to give this place 8/10! The red beans and rice was actually better the day after. The chicken that comes with it was nothing special. I truly enjoyed the frozen cup it was great since it was hot as hell outside that day.If you can find a better spot find it of not enjoy what you can from this place. It was my first and last time visiting when come to town.Parking: If they are busy parking will be difficult.“
“Pandora's is a staple in New Orleans. I returned to New Orleans for my birthday bringing along about 20 people who have never been. I had to stop here and let them taste what a snoball is supposed to taste like. I stuck with my usual pink lemonade stuffed with condensed milk on top. My same order of 20something years. It still tastes the same. Great service as usual. I can't wait until my next visit home. Thanks, Pandora!“
“Snowizard machine makes the softest ice for thier great snoballs. Flavors on point.Chocolate dreamcicle and cotton candy were very good. And the size cups were bigger then anywhere in town.Parking: Easy in and outKid-friendliness: Had granddaughter with us. Helped her pick her flavorWheelchair accessibility: Has ramp from parking“
“Very easy to get to, prices are reasonable, and snow cones are yummy. Their crawfish nachos were delicious, I had the peaches and cream snow ball and it was yummy. Definitely recommend and will come back. They also take credit/debit card so that was a plus.“
“Many times the service is terrible, some of the employees serve you in a bad mood, on the other hand, there are others who do it in a good and friendly way and there are areas that lack service, for example customer service and money service, they have a very problem. well “
“The best cookies i've ever had from an actual cookie place/business!! they serve all of their cookies warm, fresh and SOFT! there's really nothing like Insomnia cookies, i LOVE this place! it's like 2 blocks down from St Charles, in a little purple house and limited parking in the street“
“Always received good customer service here at this location. Your typical ice cream parlor providing great tasting ice cream and other items such as shakes and cakes. Cold Stone has definitely made a name for themselves since they have multiple locations throughout the country. You should definitely try an ice cream from Cold Stone if you have never been to one before as they can create different concoctions with multiple choices of candies and/or fruits to mix with your choiced ice cream.“
