This place is usually pretty cool, but today, it was off. After waiting for quite a bit, 2 families with the same number of people that came in after us were seated before us. I’m Black and those families were white, so the perception of the situation wasn’t great. Especially when they said “Next table of two” and I stepped forward, but they told me that they were taking the other people first. Super disappointed
Our family came to enjoy great steak. The drinks were great (although late) potatoes good and the bread and butter are always excellent. My wife loved the ribs, the 6 oz sirloin was not cooked medium rare ( very little pink) and chewy. I couldn’t finish mine. We will now return at a later date and order hamburgers. Your burgers are excellent.
The cruelty of not letting elderly or very young people wait in air conditioning during this heat wave is unacceptable. To be told to wait in my car or outdoors is a new policy and we have never been made to leave the small indoor waiting area until today. It was their decision to rid the restaurant of a proper waiting space! Not sure whose idea that was 🤷🏼♀️
