AMAZING both of ours equally. We scraped our plates ! We loooved our date oh yeah we got the voodoo egg rolls has crawfish —- THAT WAS SOOOO GOOD ! I’m sorry — just come and try yourself !”

“While on vacation in New Orleans, ate dinner here. Had boiled crawfish, shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage and it was excellent, and beer was ice cold!! Our waitress Jewel was great, showed us how to eat crawfish! Highly recommend!”

“I got to try their pupusas at the Creole Tomato Festival in the French market on June 10th. It is the BEST PUPUSA in all of the country. Their tomato sauce that accompanies the pupusas is redolent with spices that complements the pupusa. The curtido is super yummy, as well. I can’t wait to go to their place in the Westbank. They were very nice and I’m telling you, the pupusa is the best I’ve ever had (and I’m old!).”

“Went in at 5:30pm, slow start to service but overall it was pretty good. Food was great, i had a chicken sandwich and fried shrimp for appetizer. Avg alcohol selection. I wouldn't mind going again but i wouldnt go or if my way for it.”

“This place was seriously packed..they bartender was on top of it and I am glad I came here based on reviews..the one on North shore had horrible reviews and I wanted a a solid experience and this location did not disappoint.. bartender worked the whole bar solo and killed it. She had a perfect flow to keeping the seats moving in and out.”

“Barrow's Catfish - Poydras location We ordered the Barrows catfish entree with potato salad, smothered seafood okra with catfish, and shrimp and spinach rolls. The texture of the catfish was amazing! I wish that it had a tad bit more seasoning but I would definitely order it again. The smothered seafood okra was a taste of southern comfort and just delicious. The rolls were nicely cooked with just the right amount of crunch. Con (to some): The catfish is farm raised.”

“This was so good, when I lived in Pailet avenue as a child, I used to eat from them all the time. Now I'm back in Louisiana for college. Noodles are great, shrimp fried rice is awesome, and so is literally everything else on the menu.”

“The guy that I believe owns and/or manage the business was really sweet! He helped carried my order to the car and everything! Over the top customer service!The space is awesome though! It's spacious, neat, and clean with great parking.Now, they say they open for 10:30a.m. but they don't! They arrive at about 10:45a.m. and then have to clean, prep, meet vendors, and everything else! Just open for 11:00a.m. or later it's rude and inconsiderate of your customer's time if they planned for that visit.Then when they finally arrive they still have to wait on the cooks or whomever. The yakemein is delicious but not enough to wait a hour or so later for. The burger meat is gross, and the other things were enjoyable.Again not enjoyable enough for the wait and inconsistent hours. The prices are reasonable and again that yakemein is amazing!”

“We were grabbing a quick bite with friends before heading back to St. Louis. We had to wait about 30 min., but it was worth it. We.had the brunch buffet. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety & the quality of food. The prime rib was cooked three different ways (med, medium rare & closer to rare). The horseradish sauce was the best I've ever had. It was creamy, smooth & perfectly blended. The cheese.grits were great, as well as the mashed sweet potatoes. There are too many things to compliment on. The service was fantastic by Emily our server. We also enjoyed conversing with De'Andre who was manning the carving table. We talked prime rib for a while. Thanks for the great food, service & wonderful lunch.”

“A hidden gem! The location is a little tucked away in the corner of the shopping strip. Cute warm and welcoming atmosphere. Met the new owner, and she was so nice! The Bun Bo Hue was so good and flavorful… better than most places. My second favorite is the Bánh Bot Chien (Fried Rice Cake). A must try!”

“I am genuinely surprised by the other reviews. My husband and I were visiting NOLA and stopped into Boomtown for dinner and a place to sleep. It was hard to find a restaurant in the casino WITH a bar. We settled here for food and when the server found out we were looking for drinks too, she went to the other bar in the casino and grabbed us beers. She was so sweet and accommodating.Also, the pho here is AMAZING. I am from the east coast and it blew me away. Very authentic and delicious. Serving was huuuuugee and reasonably priced. This place is a well kept secret in the city apparently by the lack of reviews.Ambiance is nice. And it seemed other patrons were happy with their food. There was a long line for take out when we showed up. If we lived locally, I would for sure be a repeat customer getting their pho. ??”

“After being in the Emergency Department at a local hospital. I was starving. I decided to go to Fridays. My appetizer was delicious it was shrimp delicious. My main dish was a New York strip with butter, mac and cheese which was so delicious. I can it has been a while since I went to my local Friday's. I thank you Chef and their team. The young lady who was my server was superb. I ate by the bar. Your menu changed I didn't know. I will back soon.Sonia”
