“Great little seafood place. My husband had the boiled shrimp with sausage and potatoes. He approved and is picky. I had fried shrimp platter. Cornmeal batter and even batter and fried corn! Delicious. Tried the pepper jack boudin balls as well. Very good with good meat ratio. Definitely worth the stop during our road trip!“
“My wife and my daughter and myself stopped her for a late birthday lunch for me. I ordered the catfish and white beans AND a 4 piece chicken with fries! My wife had a three piece chicken and my daughter got the seafood platter. Everything was excellent, the service was top notch and the food was fresh. Our server was super friendly and very patient. I attempted to eat all my food while there but I had to tap out. When I said out loud I couldn't eat another bite she said "I guess so with two plates of food!"? This place is off the beaten path but it is well worth the trip. Don't forget to try the bread pudding!“
“04/01/24Glad we came across this lil gem. Cute decore. Excellent service and the food was very good. The crayfish pie was very flavorful. So wasn't the jambalaya. Ice tea was sweet and fresh.If I had to give a critique. It would be the French fries need to be crispy. Ours were soft.It's a busy spot for a good reason.“
“awesome experience for some authentic cajun cuisine. a group of us showed up at 6pm on a Friday - they had live music and the place was busy. felt like we were eating in somebody's living room, lots of locals who clearly frequent the place. food was great, i had the chicken & sausage gumbo which was delicious. they have won the award for best local gumbo something like 7 years in a row. server was funny and helpful.Parking: saw a bunch of kids with their families“
“Here for work from Texas stopped by and was welcomed by the delightful staff, friendly atmosphere, cold beverages, fresh food. Sat at the bar and was instantly met with a smile and what would you like to start off with ? Courtney was as friendly as they come, her service was impeccable, Destiny and Tyler also provided me with excellent service, overall experience was excellent for my first time here. I will definitely be stopping here prior and after my off shore hitches to enjoy the great atmosphere and wonderful service.“
