“This was an excellent stop after our tour. My husband and I shared the Cajun medley after sharing swamp fries. Both were very good. We also had the mint juleps. Hard to beat a KY mint julep. The weather was perfect so we were able to sit outside. Great stop!“

“My husband and I stopped on Wednesday early evening. We split the meat lovers pizza and house salad, which were delicious. We had the bread pudding to-go (wish we had gotten a double order). It is a local place with delicious food and great service. It was our first time eating there since they reopened (Hurricane Ida). It will definitely be a regular dinner spot.“

“Stopped by here for lunch on the way to a tour of the Laura Plantation. Type of place where you order at the counter up front then take your seat. Mostly had crawfish and shrimp along with a few sides. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal.“
“Would we recommend? Absolutely!A historic, large, & luxurious plantation full of dark history - history nonetheless. The lives impacted by this operation is truly saddening to contemplate! Eerily, as we walked onto the property, we felt a profound awareness of what tragedy transpired on the grounds! We toured the mansion/house, and as we walked among the homes of the slaves and the mighty oak trees on the ally, we pondered, "If these trees or walls could talk"!“

“Food is amazing, hot, fresh and timely. The service was great and very friendly. The building it self is almost hidden in visuals that it's a restaurant. It's interior is old and outdated but it gives cafeteria vibes. But the food makes you forget all those things.Parking: Gravel section to left of the building.“

“We visited Spuddy for his Cajun Cooking experience (personal cooking lesson). We made Andouille Sausage from scratch. We cooked Jambalaya, Gumbo and Smothered Okra. The food was amazing and the experience with Spuddy was unforgettable. This is a great thing do do when you visit the plantations.“
