In town for second night and in search of a new place I used YELP. Calla came up with interesting reviews so off to Calla we went. The restaurant is on the second floor of a small French revival styled building in a mixed residential /commercial subdivision. If I can give 10 stars I would! This place is amazing! If you are in Louisiana/Lake Charles you HAVE to come here! Out of all of the restaurants I have been to in my life, Calla is top 3. Their chef, David, is so personable and Hannah, I think the only female bartender, is awesome! Food is incredible. The atmosphere is so friendly.

Outstanding restaurant, have been twice now and everything we have tried has been excellent. The service is very good also. Cocktails are excellent. The scratch macaroni and cheese is especially good, love the candied pork bellies on top!
