“You can't go wrong with the Surf & Turf! I have tried it at least 4 times and love it every time. The Hanger Steak is tender, tasty and awesome stand alone and the lump crab and crawfish in a spicy white wine cream sauce is awesome stand alone, but the 2 together is out of this world goodness. The cream sauce is good to dip the tasty Roasted Potatoes in too! The last time I went, I tried the Pork Shank. It was fall off the bone tender and delicious! If it wasn't so much meat, I would've eaten every single bite, but I definitely saved my extra and the waitress put it in a to go box for me to finish at home. The Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes were creamy and delicious and the Green Beans were well seasonsed and extra tasty with the Neuske's Bacon Bits sprinkled throughout. What a treat the Bacon was! If you are tired of binging on the Hanger Steak each visit, give this one a try and you won't regret it!“
“Beautiful Bistro, great service, and delicious food. The in-house fresh baked bread is incredible! You can see from your table as they prepare your food. We will definitely come back when we visit Lake Charles again.Just one little detail: Please ask your staff in the kitchen to cover their heads with a net. I saw one in particular that had a lot of hair, and it could easily end up in people's food. All of them should wear a hair net.Parking: Parking is located behind the restaurant.“
“The food and the staff are almost always FANTASTIC! On my last trip, the servers were even amused by my friends and I wearing fake mustaches...and then joined in on the fun with us. Easy going and fun atmosphere.Food comes out quickly and is piping hot.I will say...the Italian sausage chunks are a little on the big side. If they could cut those down some, that would be cool.Parking: Parking lot is always a little tight as they share a lot with sweet frog and the urgent care.“
“We have become fairly regular customers here with my wife and friends. Like many, they have had a few problems with employees. However, on our last visit, everyone was cheerful and happy. The food is usually great and at a reasonable price. Fresh salads compliment the food well. So many of us spoil our children rotten and then cannot understand why the young people in these places are not pleasant or caring in caring for our needs in such places. I think that it is a great place to enjoy good food. If we have a problem, we kindly let management know.“
“My memories of good times at Tony's Pizza go back to the early 70s and through the years when the dining room was expanded, the new shiny tables were added, and various menu additions like the medium sized Chicago-style pizza crust, the iconic po-boy bbq sauce being out-sourced along with appetizer and dessert items being added and the imported candies on the front counter. The Italian Sausage Po-Boy is memorable for its amazing flavor and ability of the lovely aroma of spices that you could savor at home the next morning when you awoke. The ground beef pizza with the jalapeno topping that were also ground was revolutionary and incredibly smart and it's remarkable that I haven't seen ground jalapenos replicated by a pizza restaurant in the fifty years since. I now live near Austin, TX and we have a number of pizza restaurants representing a variety of pizza types from Brooklyn, Neapolitan, Detroit, Connecticut, California, that are baked in a traditional pizza oven, wood-fired, coal-fired, etc. and many that are nationally ranked and reviewed and I love most all of them, but there's something iconic and exemplary about Tony's Pizza in Lake Charles with the toppings, sauce, and their pizza crust that I love today as I have the last fifty years. It's Lake Charles style!“
“This was my first time at Olive Garden and based on what everyone says, I expected it to be a lot worse, but I was honestly pleasantly surprised. The food was a solid 7/10 and you get so much of it that it makes it worth it.I loved the atmosphere here and our waitress was amazing. I would recommend coming here if you’re very hungry and craving above average Italian food.“
“Nice clean spacious building. There is even an outside patio if you choose to eat outside. But the real shine here is on the pizza! I ordered the veggie pizza and I am not a vegetarian. I just wanted something fresh and crisp and that is exactly what I got. I wasn't even missing the meat... It was so good y'all! I aways love a place with self-service drinks, you can refill whenever you like. They even serve wine and beer if you're into that. Employees were super nice and came checked on us while we're eating to make sure that we enjoyed our meal. It was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be back.“
