“The food was good and nicely presented. It is cute and quaint. Orders are olaced at the counter, you seat yourself and they find you. I did find it odd I had to ask for syrup. Once I did, a condiment organizer was brought to my table complete with salt and pepper. The dogs with the man sitting at the next table were brought water and then some treats, without saying a word. The patrins were pleasant and conversational, the staff at the cafe were "matter of fact".“

“What a cute spot for brunch! The food and drinks were solid but the decor and atmosphere were all we could talk about afterwards. A fun spot for a girls day, bachelorette, bridal shower, etc. The crab beignet appetizer was DELICIOUS and I enjoyed the mushroom frites. Everyone ended up trying one person's truffle mac and cheese and that was a fan favorite too.“

“Went there today 3/30/24, Nicole B #3012 was our waitress..... Nicole was very customer oriented, polite and accommodating. Nicole B is a top notch waitress and a great ? asset ? to Zydeco's restaurant.Ashley was super nice and friendly. Had all you can eat crawfish for $39.99 each. Crawfish was seasoned but not too spicy ? but not bland either. I ate 3 trays and the crawfish were hot each time.“

“Long day of fishing out of Sweet Water Marina (Da Crow). Decided to take a recommendation from YouTube personality Outside the Levees and eat Lunch at Dat Kitchen. We walked in and were greeted by Chef Medah with a smile. She gave us a run down of the special and that’s what we got. A seafood stuffed potato with fried catfish fillet topper. Every bite was delicious and the fish was best ever. Made fresh to order. Please give this spot a try when in the area. Here husband and mother-in-law were amazing. Also go before the school crowd let’s out“

“My husband and I decided to try this based on previous reviews during a quick trip from Pennsylvania..so glad we came here. The food is AWESOME! I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had the Shrimp Etouffee. He also had the Chicken and Sausage Gumbo as an appetizer. We shared a side of Red Beans and Rice....all were delicious! And to top it all off for my birthday, I ordered the Tiramisu...it was a huge piece and also delicious. Our server, Mason, was so attentive and polite. Definitely give this place a try...you won't be disappointed.“

“Great food!!! Parked at the truckstop next door and came in for a bite. My wife ordered the special, which was lemon pepper fried fish with pasta and a garlic toast. I ordered the fried fish player. It came with 3 huge tenders and fries. Price is on point with the food. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the gentleman behind the counter. I was only going to order to go but the place was extremely clean and just had to sit down and eat. Restrooms were clean to the max with a hit of clean smell. The place was spotless. Food was grilled behind the counter and made fresh. Flavor was on point crispy fish on both plates. Hot and not oily at all. They definitely put attention to everything they do and will be a customer evrytime I'm in the area. Can't wait to try the beans next and a poboy, maybe a burger too while I'm at it. My wife's dish was the past and she said the pasta had shrimp and crayfish too.“

“The food here is amazing and the service is also fast and thoughtful. I went for lunch and was in and out quickly so I had time to take a quick break and go right back to work. I chose to get the pork chop lunch and it was delicious. It came with two giant pork chops that were fried to perfection with delicious sides. I recommend cafe 615 for those who are hungry and want an affordable meal that is hot and delicious.“

“Hole in the Wall restaurant worth ordering from. We were in the area after visiting the Katrina Memorial Museum (Also worth the visit!!!). The Garlic Butter wings were insanely full of flavor & crispy. The combination fried rice was a special kind of good, not overloaded with soy sauce, Just "Damn Good"!!!!!! The Yakamein was also delicious. Don't sleep on this place. Only down side is nowhere to sit so you gotta get it to go, but still DELICIOUS!!“

“Weekday lunch with husband in assuming surroundings at Lil G's, under new ownership. Plenty of parking. Not super busy on this day. Husband had hamburger steak meal, which he enjoyed. I had the chopped salad, interestingly including goat cheese and crispy okra. I probably should have asked about the okra. Danielle was kind enough to serve house made Cajun ranch on the side; was very tasty. Would have enjoyed a little more goat cheese. Crispy okra = fried okra, which blew my mind - warm fried okra on top of my fresh salad. I put all of the okra in a small bowl on the side and ate it separately. I think getting someone's attention to check out probably was the slowest part of the process. Drinks never went dry, and pricing is reasonable. Not sure we will return, though, just because there's nothing outstanding about the food; it's just good.“
“This was my first time visiting this restaurant, I decided to visit this restaurant after visiting Octapharma Plasma in Gretna, Louisiana for Lent season. My family has a Christian background so do I , going here on my way home was a good choice! I enjoyed the food they served, hopefully you'll have my business again in the future!“

“My best friend and I had PeeWee's on a recent trip to NOLA, it was seriously one of the best things we had there. My favorite was the Crabcakes and seafood fries! That gravy is amazing as well as the crabcakes! Had to get them again before we left when we found the food truck downtown at the parade!!!“
“Best po-boys... We've been eating here for a number of years. Our go-to especially for breakfast po-boys. The best bread ever...made locally in NOLA. Not sure why they didn't have Bloody Mary's this time...they have had in the past....but sandwiches still worth the visit.“
“Food was really good and the beer from Faubourg where it's located is delicious. Staff are overall super friendly and pleasant. Our order was incomplete and had to return to counter for missing drink. Different staff member at the counter seemed quite annoyed that I came back to get the drink.“
“The seafood boil with crawdads, snow crab, a sausage link and potatoes was awesome! Get the shrimp juice on the crawdads, on all the seafood really...it's a really good sauce. They were out of turkey wings but understandable 30 min before closing time. Next time I'll order those too. Nice selection of juice, tea and beer.“

“Wow! What a find thanks to the Hotel staff! A worker who also was staying at the same hotel said I had to try it! Not disappointing at all. Short staffed but not a problem as the manager coached her team to success. Everyone was flying around helping with all diners! I ordered an ice cold beer to start and ordered one of the pick your fish dishes - choice of three fish (redfish, mahi, or red snapper) prepared three different ways. Thai, Creola or St Catherine! I went with the redfish creola! The picture says it all! Perfectly seasoned and cooked! Lump crabmeat and tomato on top with a butter sauce. The side of fries and green beans were perfect! The green bean cook was something else with garlic to boot! A great compliment to the dish! The restaurant is small but nicely decorated and a lot of fun. Watching the staff interact with the local clients was something else like family! If my work returns me back I will be there again!!“
