This place was repeatedly mentioned in guides to NOLA, but a tour guide recommendation pushed us to it—and it was well worth it! I’ll be dreaming of the sauce from the “Voodoo Shrimp Po-Boy” for a while!
Wow. The alligator gator po boy and gumbo was delicious. They do a great job! It is a packed and busy place but worth the wait. They close earlier than you expect and take cash only.

Small unassuming hole in the wall restaurant with phenomenal muffalletta. The roast beef Po’Boy was delicious also. This place was recommended by one of our tour guides as one of the best places to get a Po’Boy. It did not disappoint.
