Hidden gem of the city This is the third weekend we visit Tia Maria's with my family. We have loved every dish we have tried! The service is friendly and very welcoming. The open kitchen concept gives you a sense of comfort that everything is fresh and handled with care. The food was awesome, the service was great and the place was clean. I saw people eating these huge bowls of soup. That seemed really popular. The portions were large and very good. I recommend the carne assada and the dried cheese. The empanadas were really good as well.

What a gem! Great authentic Honduran food. Very good service and fair prices. We tried a cross section of the menu and everything was excellent. I personally like some spice but with flavor, not just heat. This was exactly what I was looking for. Excellent.
