Food was AMAZING!! We had a biscuit with pimento cheese, the biscuit was buttery, soft, and crispy, the pimento cheese was creamy and flavorful. We also had the brisket grits, the grits were cooked perfectly, and the brisket had amazing flavor. The brisket melted in my mouth and had a wonderful smoky flavor. Ordered the Fried Chicken Poboy, and the Boudin Eggrolls.The Chicken was crispy not overly, served on Gambino French bread, which is a softer bread than the usual poboys in town. This resulted in a very biteable sandwich. The poboy accompanies, sweet pickles, arugula with spicy mayo. In other words, Delicious!My choice of side was Mac and cheese. Oooey gooey cheesiness. I had the grits, gravy, fried chicken (theigh) biscuit and poached eggs. I think it's called the Rise and Shine. Gravy was garlicky and flavorful. Chicken was well seasoned and super crisp. The biscuit was big and lite and fluffy, so good. Service was friendly and helpful. Really good breakfast.
