I went there to see one of my favorite local artists, Mikayla Braun. The music of course, was great. I did have a hard time discerning some of the words, because the music mix wasn't quite right. The 2 biggest things, though, were the guys talking loudly behind us. I understand Gasa Gasa has no control over that, but come on guys! You pay for tickets, why not be quiet, and enjoy the show? The other thing, is that my first 2 glasses of wine were worth the $8 price, but the 3rd, full review
This place is so cool. Alley bar meets music venue meets art! We came for happy hour which is 5-7 daily and has like $6 cocktails, $8 frozen, and $1 off draft and can beer. They have music lined up inside but sometimes on the weekend they will have a DJ outside. As far as food, there is usually a food truck outside the venue but there are so many places on Freret with amazing options. You can sit inside but I don't know what you'd want too. The outside alley is such a vibe. full review

This place is so underrated and deserves way more hype The only downside is that it has limited capacity due to covid. The alley has great outdoor seating and the live music inside is normally a great time. (Also, outdoor seating is dog friendly and they even have some dog bones behind the bar)
