“We were on vacation for one of our kids wedding The hotel we were staying at is located just in front of the restaurant What an amazing find to have this kind of food and wonderful atmosphere right around the corner of the hotel in walking distance Less than 5 minutes Can’t say enough about the staff from the hostesses to the servers and the wonderful chefs The 1st time we sat at the bar to watch the food being made which helped with selection 2nd time we sat at a table because we knew what we wanted Overall experience with my family coming to the restaurant is you’re missing out on one of the best kept secrets Absolutely delicious and wonderful meal From start to finish My Family & I want to say thank you so much for taking care of us and making us feel at home“

“Restaurant was about a mile from our hotel on St Charles. We should have made a reservation for a Saturday night (even though we ate on the later side). We ended up having to do first come first serve at the bar which was awkward as there wasn't really any place to sit and wait, especially as we had to box out others for our turn at the bar seats. However, once we were settled, the service was fairly quick and the food was good. The pasta especially was done well with just the right amount of heat on the rigatoni for me. I think they must make the pasta as it was also very fresh. I did find the lack of bread odd though. We split dessert, which was something we hadn't tried before, but it was good as well.“

“What a joy. Thanks to Peter for the great service from the bar and knowledge of the history of Blake’s. Paris in the kitchen dished my spectacular shrimp bacon burger and my date’s scallops in a white wine sauce which she described as “perfect.” Carried home the wowzer bread pudding. We’ll be back to try the weekend brunch. Great people make delicious food even better.“

“Reginelli’s Pizzeria is a little off my normal path but I am really glad I stopped by. The decor is lively, with photographs of music legends on the walls. The background music is also very nice. Service was good and the combination pizza that I had was really good. They also have outdoor seating for nice days.

“Step back in time to the classic crooners era. Exceptional customer service. 1pm on Thursday, driving down St. Charles passing the time until I needed to be some place, passed this little gem and decided to pop in. I was immediately greeted and sat by Mr. Otis. Promptly bringing water. Mr. Georgio informed me of the availability of fresh softshells, and took my order. Sitting by the window watching the beautiful streetcars going up and down St. Charles. There was a few people in the restaurant but it was a whole vibe. Meal was fantastic. I watch a sweet older couple ask Mr. Georgio about the street car, he walked the couple across the street and give instructions on what to do. Absolutely suggest taking the time to visit. Two guests, appetizer, 2 lunch specials, water and tea bill was in the mid $60s without tip.“

“Stopped here after reading great reviews and absolutely did not dissapoint. Bruschetta was the best I ever had, Caesar salad was excellent as well. Pastas (bologna and funghi) were outstanding. We will definitely return on our next visit to the big easy. Highly recommend.“

It’s their smaller, casual place specializing in small bites, pizza, specialty sandwiches and pasta. We placed an order for our Mardi Gras party, and the owner Sam was the best! Here’s what 25 pizzas, 9 sandwiches and 4 dozen hot tamales look like - To Go! The pizzas were delicious Roman style with fresh shaved meats. We ordered: Prosciutto and marscapone Speck & Brie Pepperoni and Italian Sausage Cheese and fresh arugula The sandwiches are made with their homemade focaccia bread! We had The Verona, Speck and Brie and Bresaola and arugula. Everything was well packaged delicious!“
