It's been a little tricky for me to find vegan food in New Orleans. I'm so grateful to have stumbled across this restaurant! I had the cauliflower, the nopalitos, and the mushroom tacos and they were divine! The atmosphere is also wonderful. My mom is on a scooter and she was able to drive right up to a table for dining. What a great experience!

What an amazing place! Food was fantastic, drinks were as impressive. We had several different tacos and all had a ton of flavor. The quesadilla was perfect for the kids, as was the chips and guac and queso.

The tasty tacos did not make up for the horrendous service. It was appalling how poorly our group was treated. After 45 minutes in line and another 40 minutes waiting at the table, we received our order. 2 of them were incorrect. The employee spent more time and energy trying to prove that it wasn't their error than trying to correct it. He insisted on double charging us for the new order. To add insult to injury, after waiting another 20 minutes, we did not receive the new order. When we got fed up and began to leave, he said the tacos were ready. He took our payment, but the order was nowhere in sight. We asked for our money back or tacos to go. Since the order was still "in process", he refused both and scurried away with our cash. No tacos, but definitely left a bad taste. Shocking that a place like this can survive.

Go here if you want to wait 90 minutes for an incorrect order, pay extra for it and get pre made food. No special orders (like no onions for example) The order taker is extremely rude (if I could give 0 stars I would) The interior doesn’t look like the pictures, it looked like a rummage sale inside. Furniture and junk stacked everywhere and only seating at the bar. I recommend going to the other restaurants across the street.

Delicious tacos. El sol, fish and mushroom all wonderful. However the wait time was outrageous (45 minutes for a quick lunch meal). The place is understaffed, however everyone is courteous.

These guys have the absolute best tacos in the area. If you’re in town for a convention, visiting the WWII museum, or a Mardi Gras parade they are just a super short walk that you won’t regret!!

$11 for 2 tacos is insane especially for such bland taste. Got the shrimp and beef while the beef was ok the shrimp was cut into small pieces and looked boiled not grilled. If their was any salsa verde on these tacos i could not taste it.

Absolutely incredible. Great food and margaritas. The outdoor seating is very cozy and has a great ambiance. The staff was some of the nicest I have ever encountered. Will definitely make an effort to come back here when I’m in the area. 10/10 would recommend.

La Lucha is amazing! The food is delicious. Everything is made in house. The regular margarita is to die for. The quality of the tacos is outstanding, all fresh, with fantastic flavor. The tamales are also great! Very comfortable of cozy outside dinning experience. We will come back again and again! Family of 4 (two adults, two girls - 14 and 9 y.o).
