Very casual, laid-back atmosphere. Pizza and mozzarella cheese sticks were ?! Going to bring my wife and nephew there again today since we're in town.Kid-friendliness: Got half-cheese, half-pepperoni pizza. Kids loved it. They had capri suns.
Bolognese pasta was really good and the reason this review is 4/5 instead of 3. I was not impressed with the pizza at all. From what I could tell based on bottom of crust, pizzas are baked on a screen like any other chain pizzeria. I’m sure it would be significantly better if baked on stove, particularly when it comes to texture.
Sadly it looks like this great place has closed for good...The Crazy Italian Pizzeria imports New York water to perfect their New York style pizza and they also have the best version of a margherita pizza I've had in the New Orleans area. Granted that at least to my taste they could add a whole LOT more basil to the margherita pizza to make it even better.
