The Sazerac Bar Reviews
We stayed at The Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans for Valentine’s Day, expecting the level of professionalism and security that a luxury, Waldorf-affiliated property claims to uphold. What we experienced instead was shocking and unacceptable.
This is not the first time we have had issues at this hotel—but this visit confirmed a serious and ongoing problem with guest property security and staff accountability.
One week prior to our Valentine’s stay, my wife had...read full review
Stay far away from the bar in the bottom floor of this hotel, called The Sazerac Bar. The Sazerac Bar is a charming establishment, renowned for its top-notch cocktails and skilled bartenders. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with low lighting and a cozy wood interior that creates a true old-world charm. The bar offers a variety of classic New Orleans cocktails, including the Sazerac and the French 75, as well as a selection of rare spirits. It is a very beautiful place set inside the Roosevelt Hotel, adding to its upscale and elegant atmosphere. The service is excellent, and the bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable, often putting on a show while crafting drinks. Drinks like the Coffee House Sazerac and Chocolate Cherry Bomb are beautifully made, unique, and tasty, making the experience special. All the drinks are well balanced and perfectly executed, with several variations of the Sazerac available, including a traditional version and a newer one with Cognac. The Ramos Gin Fizz is a must-try, and the overall sophisticated vibe makes it perfect for relaxing afternoons or evenings of good conversation and delicious drinks. Visitors are also encouraged to explore the stunning hotel space, which adds to the memorable experience.
