My first time at Vaucressons shop since reopening. Very clean, fresh and welcoming. When you walk through the door. I went in for some sausage to take home but they also had options where they had sandwiches and hot plates available as well. When you walk in they greet you like your family and behind the counter they are actively putting fresh sausage in the casing real time to package which you can also buy fresh by the pound. I recently visited the New Orleanians area from the DMV area to attend a Mardi Gras Brunch with my high school classmates. They were looking for alligator sausage which wasn't available at the time and decided they would try another place. We found this place on the internet, wnating some NOLA-style sausage and wanting to escape the culinary tedium that often accomanies a jaunt in the Quarter. We delighted with our find!
