Explore Raceland's Mexican cuisine gems with Restaurantji's insights.
“It's a classic tex mex restaurant so nothing too crazy there but it is nice to have a place like this in Raceland. I have never had a bad experience here and it ends up being a usual spot to go to when my family or friends want to go out for dinner. The prices are fair and the food is good.“
“Love it. Used the app to order and have gift cards added to my account on the app. Made my order and everything was made just right. Only thing is when you ask for light tomatoes on the taco pizza and you only get 7 little pieces of tomato. Like really only 7 little pieces. And when I ask for unsweetened tea I expect to have it. And it was on my order as unsweetened tea but I get sweet tea. But other than that I love some taco bell“
“When I tell ya they NEVER miss! Food always tastes great, always hot and fresh, and portion sizes are always good. I love the consistency, but be prepared for at least an hour wait. Definitely would advise calling ahead to order. This is pretty much an evening and late night Taco truck. They don’t operate during lunchtime hours. My personal fave is the barbacoa beef and steak street tacos. Give ‘em a try, definitely worth the wait and worth the whileParking: Free open parking in gravel/rock lot, in close proximity to the truck. Never difficult to find parking at all.“
“I drove all the way from Mobile,Alabama just to have deer tamales made from this place . They are awesome. It is definitely worth the drive. My uncle gets dear tamales from this place and he had brought me some when he came to visit, I've been hooked on them ever since. They also make burritos which I have never had but next time I will try them if I have extra meat. other information to know : 1.bring your own meat 2.You must have at least 14.lbs of meat 3.call for hours as they don't fill orders everyday. 4. phone number 985-876-0020“
“ElPaso is my favorite Mexican Restaurant. They have a very nice selection of authentic food, The waitstaff is super polite and are careful to come when needed, but allow you privacy in between. The entire restaurant is very clean.Parking: Adjacent to outside courtyard, which has tables for guests who prefer to eat in the fresh air.“
“I came here for my first and second time last January 2023. I forgot to write a review. We walked from 628 Liberty Street Airbnb. It's located in a neighborhood. Street parking only. The Waitresses that waited on us was pretty good. I wanted a Margarita, but they did not have their Liquor License yet. I still don't think they have it yet. This is a real popular place for grab and go. We dined in both times. I do like the outdoor dining, but we sat inside to inclement weather. Pros:The owner and employees are greatCons:No liquor license Street parking onlyRecommend? Yes“
“This is my any my wife's new favorite spot in East Houma. A hidden gem of deliciousness! The service is above average and the atmosphere is relaxing. Although I haven't tried them yet, my wife claims the barbacoa tacos are to die for. I've had the fajitas mixtas and the California steak burrito and they were both very good. The burrito is my favorite so far. If I had to say one negative thing it's that they don't have margaritas yet (not sure if they have a liquor license yet) and the music is kind of loud. It makes it a little difficult to have a conversation with the acoustics, but overall a delightful little place for a lunch or dinner date.“
“The only issue I have that stops me from given this restaurant 5 stars, is the website. Aside from the redirect to what looks like a off brand temu site. The online menu categories are highly incorrect. Otherwise extremely friendly staff. The staff here a very respectful and polite. The food here is a can't miss!!(unless you order online) Try it out! Affordable and good food. Enjoy“
