Skip Smokey joes and go to Java an instead. Same food (maybe better) for half the price. Basic cafeteria style food but decent quality and great price for a casino. I had the frito pie and chef salad the fist night. The frito pie is HUGE. I expected a small bag like you get at a football game but it was a huge pile. Night 2 I got the broccoli cheese soup and a ceasar salad. Neither were anything to write home about but for the price it was damn decent. Great value for the price...read full review

I remember the day when food and drink at casinos was inexpensive. Not at Java’s Deli. This is the only “coffee shop” I found open in Shreveport at 6 am. The cappuccino was way too hot and tasted like coffee with milk rather than espresso. Oh well, what did I expect from a casino?
