“OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! THIS PLACE! Why haven't I been here before? The food is OFF THE CHARTS delicious. We shared the shrimp quesadilla and get this - a fried fish wrap instead of the sandwich. HOLY MOSES! Home made potato chips. Food is just fabulous, simply fabulous. And the staff? Delightful!”
“One name. BETTY. BETTY BETTY. What an amazing server. But beware of her antics. She will sell you all the deliciousness on the menu! This time, husband went with a biscuit benny smothered in lean but juicy pulled pork with poached. And so the perfect Sunday morning breakfast (I DIDNT HAVE TO COOK AND CLEAN) took off. This place is the epitome of diners. Clean. Smiling staff. Great food, huge portions (to go with the Cape cost of living) and they have Betty. She is THE waitress par excellence, along with Amy over at Eataly - hall of famers in our book. Folks, Bfast people get the lower wages and sucky job of making sure everything is up and running. Compared to other meals, their tips are lower. So please - tip generously. These women (and men) everywhere take care of you. Put gas in their tanks or buy them their coffee and lunch with your generous tips!”
“This place!!! The food is outstanding. (Eggs benedict was perfect, sausage egg and cheese on french bread was delicious, the pancake was insanely good, homefries were the best we've had on Cape. Baked goods were fresh and amazing and worthy of a review all on their own.) The staff are all genuinely so kind, it felt like we were old friends catching up, like they welcomed us into their home. Conversation overheard with nearby tables confirms the kindness extends to everyone. The space is bright and cheery and CLEAN, the atmosphere and music is fun, the vibe is generous and welcoming and hip and inclusive, and we can't wait to come back.”
“Went there for lunch two days in a row, while there for the weekend. The place is very good . The food , service and atmosphere were great . Definitely would recommend trying them .”
“I got take-out. The enchiladas was all I ordered & they were really good. Came with a huge portion of rice & beans. They even threw in complimentary chips n salsa! Which was really nice considering most places only give those out for free when dining in.”
“Gail is one of the best servers in the business. So if you are lucky to sit with her, your night is off to a GREAT start. Everyone LOVES the bar scene for a reason - but lines out the door start at 430 before they open! Their craft cocktails are memorable and their wine list is delightful. I LOVE LOVE the broiled oysters. LOVE THEM. Come just for those. Their steaks are prepared perfectly, seasoned perfectly. Honestly, can't say enough about this cozy place on Osterville main. It's a place to park yourself in and enjoy the ambiance, staff, people and THE FOOD!”
“Brunch food was excellent! Dessert selection was ok and could have been a bit more extravagant for the price of brunch. Had to wait a bit to have our water refilled at our table. Would go back and try dinner on a non-holiday.”
“The marina pizza is the best I’ve ever had! Service was amazing too, along with the truffle fries. Coming here again soon :)Dietary restrictions: Great dairy free/no cheese pizza”
“Wish I lived closer - this would be my go to spot!! So many N/A beer options which really makes date night THAT much better for my partner and I! Awesome vibes, fresh beer, GREAT staff, fantastic live music & board games! Can't wait for my next visit!!”
“their pizza reminds me of napoli italy!, super authentic taste and always consistent quality!I also like they have boardgames available, parents put your phone away and play a game, yeah that worked very well!!Its a little bit more expensive then your regular place but it is well well worth it!!!See you soon Palio! :)”
“Little Miss Cupcape has the best cupcakes around! I’ve been visiting this adorable little shop for years. The flavors are creative, you can taste the real ingredients they use and the finished products look stunning as well. The shop has a variety of baked goods including cookies, whoppie pies & edible cookie dough as well as creative lemonades and specialty mixed drinks. Don’t miss stopping in the next time you’re on Main Street in Hyannis or Newbury St in Boston!”
“We like to visit the Black Cat.We opened the season with an early lunch. Fabulous fresh food and wonderful bar serviceIn the summer they have a lively outdoor scene. On a stormy night in the winter the inside bar is our refuge of choice. The food is very well prepared. We had some excellent Barnstable oysters today. The lobster bisque is divine. The seafood is very fresh.Stopped by for a late season early dinner and martini. Friendly crowd . Great service.”
“Terrific meal and ambiance. Haven't been here since the late 80s. Stuffed mushrooms and shrimp and scallop fra diablo were great. Thanks to waitress and management for letting us catch up until beyond closing time. Two of the three were celebrating the lives of mothers recently lost. Loved the intimate ambiance.”
“The guy I dont know the name of, who says my brother, my friend, right from the door, and always with the smile, makes the best pizza. The whole team is awesome, always great food.”
“Always good food. Love that they added fresh fruits to the buffet. My special love is their desserts. Today was coconut cake. There was a lot of coconut chewing, but it tasted sweet and moist.”
