“I am a scone aficionado and have not found a perfect scone on Cape. My go to is The Baker in New Bedford but it's not possible to go as often as I'd like to enjoy a scone. Aime's raspberry scones are heaven. They are buttery and flakey. The texture is really good. They are very small (in comparison to scones I have eaten all over) but that's ok, I love them. 3.15 with tax for a couple of bites of buttery delish.“
“I just had my first (of many) Apple pie(s) from Centerville Pie Company. It is the best frozen apple pie I've ever had. And one of the best overall, frozen or fresh. Although frozen and then reheated, it tasted like fresh baked. I honestly did not think frozen pie could have such flaky rich crust and apples that remained crisp and crunchy, amazing!“
“I was in Hyannis today when the craving for a soft pretzel hit, so I ran into the mall. If you're never been, Auntie Anne's sells hand rolled, baked soft pretzels in a variety of flavors, such as Original (dipped in butter and sprinkled with salt). Cinnamon Sugar,Sour Cream and Onion, Cinnamon Raisin, Almond, Garlic Parmesan, Jalapeno (with actual cut up jalapeno peppers on it) and Pepperoni (with cheese sprinkles, and actual slices of pepperoni stuck on the pretzel). They also have pretzel sticks and nuggets, which are smaller size pieces of either original or cinnamon sugar flavors. They have dips for your pretzels, if you desire.Choose cheese, hot salsa cheese, caramel, marinara, light cream cheese, or a sweet, white glaze. Also, you can get a pretzel dog, (which is just what it sounds like: pretzel dough wrapped around a hot dog, salted, and then baked).Beverages are Cola-Cola soda products, lemonade, frozen lemonade, or water. When I made it to Auntie Anne's, they were all out of the full sized Original pretzels, and said they wouldn't have more for a while, so I opted for original pretzel sticks, and requested extra salt (because I find that when I buy them, most of the salt has fallen off). They tasted fresh, with just the salt level I wanted. They cost around $4, and you get 6 big sticks for the price. Service was very friendly, and fast. Sure, you can buy frozen soft pretzels for less, and bake them at home, but when you want it faster, this is not a bad treat once in a while. Thumbs up!“
“Great casual restaurant/bakery that offers authentic Ecuadorean & Argentinian food. A hidden gem in Cape Cod beyond the typical tourist traps. We ordered: Bandera-Shrimp ceviche, meat stew, beef tripe with fried banana & avocado. Encebollado-Ecuadorean soup w/ yellowfin tuna, cassava, tomatoes, & onions (My favorite) Carne Asada-Grilled meat, rice & stewed beans. Everything was so delicious. Tastes like heavenly comfort food from an abuela's kitchen. Our server was very accommodating & friendly as well. He had a sincere smile the whole time & always checked in on us no matter how busy he was one-man-showing both the bakery & dining. We were given tiramisu on the house, without them even knowing it was my Birthday! Alignment is a beautiful thing :) This has been a memorable dining experience & we'll definitely be back.“
“I'm a big fan of cannolis, and I've tried them from all over the states as well as Italy. I can honestly say that the cannolis from Scapicchio”s are the best I've ever had.The shells are perfectly crispy and flaky, and the filling is rich and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The cannolis are also always fresh and delicious, no matter when I get them.I highly recommend Scapacchio to anyone looking for the best cannolis ever. You won't be disappointed!“
“Chez Antoine is a wonderful little french-ish cafe and one of the highlights of Hyannis in my opinion. Grab yourself an Afogato or Cafe au lait and a almond croissant. Then top it all off with a couple of beignets to send your mood soaring. A good day starts at Chez Antoine Cafe.“
“You can buy the cookies throughout the Cape but don't do that - just come here so you're sure they're fresh baked day-of. These things are crazy good and HUGE. They're a bit hidden, around the back of the building and they have odd hours but we always catch them and they're always amazing! The chocolate is my fav, peanut butter is my husband's fav.“
“Amazing breakfast sandwiches and pastries!I really enjoyed the Nancy sandwich which was on a sweet biscuit. Very delicious! If you are looking to feed a bunch of people, they offer a 16 breakfast sandwich and 6 hash brown beach bucket (order the day before).“
“Simply sublime. Ian and Laurie have created a Cheers like vibe in this little bakery. Quite simply, it is full of love. The food, the energy, the welcome, it's pure love. Let's start with the cookies. I love dessert before my meal and today, nibbled a cashew oatmeal raisin cookie before my lunch. The cookies are divine. My Thai chicken wrap, to die for; spicy and peanutty good. I have been loving Underground for years. Our community is fortunate to have Laurie and Ian feeding us good food.“
“We worked with casual gourmet to cater our wedding in 2015 (food was amazing!!!) and since then, there is not a birthday in my family that doesn’t include their cakes. I even had their cinnamon rolls after giving birth (so much better than hospital food lol)! They are wonderful and accommodate our requests and I have never had anything less than delicious from them. Best place on the cape for cake! Love love love!“
