“Cafe on the Common is always a pleasure. Clean place, friendly staff and owners, delicious food and drink- and all conveniently in Barre center. If you like music check out their open mic or live performances as noted online. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: There are lots of options for vegetarians either specific veg options such or items that can be tweaked to be veg friendly.Parking: There are free lot spots available but I’ve never had to look past free street parking right out front.”

“We stopped in for a quick bite on a Sunday afternoon. Sat right down, server came over right away. The sausage parm grinder was the absolute best I've ever had. Fresh and hot. Tender sausage and tons of cheese and sauce. Fantastic.”

“I love the building & the very tasty beers. And the most interesting bathroom artwork or posters. A person could stay in there a week & not read everything. I love the history of the area all written on brochures which are all stuck on the walls. I may take my mug of beer & a bit of pizza & stay in there for a long while & just read.”

“We had a great experience here and highly recommend it! We were in town for a wedding and loved our stay here. The Garden View room was so cool with its 11 windows wrapping 3 walls. The bed was super comfy and the window AC worked well, which is crucial for me. Joe was lovely and always available to help. We enjoyed sitting in the living room with some friends before bed. Joes cooked to order breakfast was delicious. I can tell Joe pays attention to detail and it shows. We would gladly stay here again.”

“Although you wouldn't think much of the outside of this restaurant, the food can't be beat! We visited this restaurant last summer and I don't remember exactly what we had, I know we've been wanting to go back ever since! I know we had seafood and it was very fresh and for a small restaurant, the menu was very diversified. Can't wait to go back! We live quite far from Barre, so we'll take a road trip there soon!”

“We had our early dinner at Yummy's the other day. Clean restaurant. Not many decorations, lots of people came for takeout, we ate inside. Went to the bar side and saw one worker was in their PJs, another was laying in a booth played on their phone . Hopefully they didn't roll out of bed and start working in a restaurant without showering. Anyway, we started with a pupu platter. Substituted one item for MORE beef teriyaki but got chicken teriyaki instead..the beef teriyaki was very good!told the waitress we got chicken teriyaki instead of more beef teriyaki, she just said chicken and went away. Rangoons didn't have much filling at all but what tiny amount they had was good. The wings were good, the boneless ribs were good, the rice was good. We wanted the lo mein and beef & broccoli to go but I ordered it with the meal forgetting to ask for it to be separate so I did try a lo mein noodle & piece of beef and a piece of broccoli. Asked them to box up everything and was stunned that such tiny boxes for beef & broccoli & lo mein since it wasn't eaten. The meal came to $70+”

“Good Dunkin. We went in to place our order. It was a big order, when we left it didn't include all of items we purchased. We were to far away to go back. Check your orders before you leave and trust that everything will be there. We should have looked. “I think that every establishment deserves a second chance. I had a not so great meal a while back here. Today, my coworker and I decided to try the chicken quesadilla that was recently added to their menu. It did not disappoint! Probably one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. Delicious!!! I will be back!”

“Wife and I had some of the best prime rib tonight! Was absolutely super tasty! Always add gravy to the mashed! Tonight’s Brussel Sprouts were on point! Service is great as always, they all move as fast as they can go for sure! Super busy as always on a Saturday night with a line out the door when we left. Arrived at 4:30 and was told 20 min wait and only waited 11 min.”

“There are not many choices for restaurants in the Rutland and Spencer areas. I find black & white has an extremely diverse menu. And it's almost impossible not to find something that you like. Definitely a place worth going to the ean get very busy. Best make reservations if you can. Particularly on weekends. They do have some options such as prime rib that are only served on certain days of the week. Overall, a very good restaurant with lots of choices. I recommend it.”

“A small, but cozy spot where you can enjoy some breakfast. Ordered Gabby's corner which included 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, sausage, home fries and toast. Also ordered the steak bomb that was an omelette with cheese that included shaved steak, onions, peppers, mushrooms and came with home fries and toast. The food was tasty and the service was excellent. Cash only and they also do take out.”

“I have struggled to find a pizza place in my area that I enjoy, is consistent, clean and provides decent portions for the price. Reno's checks all those boxes and then some. Since moving out here 4 years ago, I've tried every single pizza place in Athol, Orange, Gardner and Templeton. Reno's has the absolute best pizza and it's much larger than some of the other shops in the area. They also don't skimp on the toppings at all! The restaurant is clean, they wear gloves when preparing the food and the service is always friendly. They also make an amazing Italian subs, calzones and salads! I don't actually live in Templeton, but drive out of town to come here whenever we get pizza or subs.”

“I absolutely love this restaurant! I try to make sure I go at least once a week because I just can’t get enough of their homefries. My kiddos love the huge chocolate chip pancakes with whip cream! The staff is always so friendly and we never wait long! We were so happy to see them open back up on Sundays!”

“We had a small event at Mimi's today. Stephanie and her staff were literally amazing! The food was amazing and there was so much of it. The price they gave was reasonable. The service was beyond exceptional. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were today. They are worth the drive to Hardwick any day. it's also adorable. it's in the old town post office.”

“This meal is an amazing price for what you get. The chicken was perfectly cooked: hot, tender and juicy. It was seasoned with savory Mediterranean spices. The rice also had a great flavor and was nice and moist. I think the carrots and peas used were previously frozen, but they were cut small enough that I still enjoyed it very much (kind of like the vegetable you get in fried rice). What’s even better is I got full after the 2nd kabob and then had some leftover rice and chicken for lunch the next day (so it was like 2 meals in one!). I really recommend this meal. I hope to see more Mediterranean options, like falafel and hummus, in the future.”

“Nice place to have gatherings for they offer an affordable option to throw any sort of events you may have. Baby showers, bday parties, etc. Doesn't have strong lighting. But plenty of room in the hall and a clean kitchen to use for preparing food”

“Hadn't been in the candlelight for 10 years. They've cleaned it up and added on and it's very welcoming. They're big back canopy area should be up and running this summer for parties and bands or whatever.Parking: Wide open free parking area.”

“The KFC in Gardner is a much better experience Then the one in ringe NH . The folks at work at the gardner store know how to treat a customer . If you like fried chicken KFC's got you ? Shoot the one on Gardner also does Taco Bell.”
