“I'm a big pub-food guy, and this place is my go-to for that nowadays. My favorite is the skillet cornbread and the *very* beefy chili which is served with chips and sour cream. The staff have always been prompt and friendly. The only downside is that it fills up most evenings, but I guess that's the best problem to have. Just make sure you have a reservation of be willing to wait a bit at prime times“

“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. “Incredible little bakery and cafe with wide selection of delicious pastries, specializing in croissants, with frequently rotating specials, and delicious drinks. Staff are friendly and quick and the atmosphere is vibrant and lively. Hand pies and savory croissants are my favorites, but the scones and sweet croissants are also to die for!“

We had 3 meals which consisted of brisket, ribs and half chicken with the sides of Mac n cheese (which to me could use a little smoke flavor or cheese with a little more flavor. Could just be a personal preference. ) baked beans and Brussel sprouts.Overall fantastic meal for good price.They need a bigger seating area but for a new BBQ place in New England they are on their way to becoming well known for great food. There was an event on this day, but this did not affect the service time, there were a lot of people and i want to say thank you to Dmitry, sorry if i misspelled your name, this is a waiter in a black shirt who helped me with the choice from the menu, especially with dessert it was delicious, very good service! “When I'm in the Newton area for work, I love to frequent this little pizza place. It's literally the tiniest restaurant I've ever eaten in but the food is excellent. They have an assortment of specialty pizza with fancy names and the staff is always so nice. If it's a busy night you may have to wait to be seated but carry out is also an option. If you get to eat in don't worry about how small the space is. Somehow they make it work and everyone feels like family.“

“We went there for breakfast, and it's a local favorite. Food was excellent (I think it's the same people who started Paul's Diner in Westford) and service was great and homey. Nice local art (for sale!) on the walls. The space is a little tight, but it didn't seem to get in the way of enjoying the meal.“

“YUMMY! I went on a Sunday at around 1:30/2pm and there was such a long wait. I probably waited in line for 20 min, then another 5 to get my order, so I wouldn't recommend if you are in a rush. But parking was easy enough. And when it was my turn to order, wow, I wanted to try everything in the pastry case! I ended up getting the earthquake cookies, a chocolate chip cookie, baklava, and a donut with some kind of chocolate frosting and a creamy filling. Wow, everything was amazing, especially the donut! “I really love the family friendly environment. I usually take the kids on Fridays and always feel welcome. My kids love the food! Especially the chicken tenders and pasta on the kids menu! So it makes take out for a busy sports mom easy! The restaurant is spacious and I can’t wait to see it with the new expansion in the works! “I’ve been driving past Rufina’s for months, always intrigued by the full parking lot so early on Friday evenings. I finally got the chance to stop in yesterday and was certainly delighted! The hostess seated my 3 girls and I quickly, while reassuring that the white table cloths didn’t mean that kids were not welcome. The menu is extensive: all of our family’s favorite dishes plus a whole lot more. The girls were so happy with the dessert list. We landed on angel hair pasta with marinara and meatball, ziti broccoli with chicken, and piccata with shrimp and mushrooms. For dessert in house made cheesecake with strawberries! The service was great too- we had drinks right away and the server got dinner orders in promptly (super important with kiddos). The food wasn’t brought super quickly but a trip to the bathroom and a couple minutes buffer with cell phone videos did the trick. Along the way, we asked for extra silverware which were brought right away and we had a major drink spill, which they helped contain and remediate quickly (complete with a new wheats table cloth). The prices were comfortable and the quality was great. The only thing that was a bit strange for our young crew was the noise level- it was super quiet when we first arrived around 5:45/6. I had to keep reminding the girls of the quiet voices that were needed.“

“This is one of the best burgers I've had this far from a cattle farm. I love a true rare, and I ordered a grass fed burger rare and it was perfect. My partner ordered a medium and it was right on, not medium well, which is not easy. The sweet potato fries were crispy and fresh, too. Everything came out fast, though it wasn't busy. I don't understand how this place was so empty on a Saturday evening. It feels like stepping into the Midwest - plenty of space inside, I almost forgot I wasn't in Minnesota.“
