“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“
“Best bakery we've been to in the Boston area. Everything we've tried has been excellent, but I highly recommend the ancient grain sourdough, the feta twist and the croissants. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly.“
“Initially I was concerned that I wouldn't find any vegan options in Boston. The Life Alive Organic Cafe in Cambridge was a great find. They are plant based having vegetarian and vegan options. The food is fresh, quality and the tastes a great.A wide range of dishes including warm grain bowls, salads, wraps, noodles and soups, and desserts. The beverages include smoothies, cold pressed juices, coffees, teas and suoerfood.lattes.This is definitely on par with the best vegan food I have had in London. Free WiFi, great food and service what more could you ask for. A short distance from MIT you should put it on your to do list.Pictured are Miso Tofu Ramen, Grilled Pita and Blue Breeze.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“Had a great experience at this local coffee shop. Both of our drinks were absolutely delicious- got the iced strawberry matcha and a plain cold brew. Might be my new favorite cold brew in the area! Also tried the garlic pao de queijo, which came steaming hot and was amazing. 10/10 experience and great atmosphere to get some studying in.“
“The most delicious food! My favorites are the lentil soup and the fattouch salad. ALWAYS delicious. My absolute favorite place to sit and enjoy a yummy lunch when I’m working in North Cambridge. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. Kind, authentic people making it all happen. Sweet, family run business.“
“Long overdue review since I've been a regular here for years, and try to go every time I'm in Boston. The food is amazing and will be appreciated not only by vegans and vegetarians, just outstanding quality diner food. The place looks like a cute diner as well and the service has always been great. The team works super hard and gets food out quickly even on very busy days! Love everything about this place and hope to continue coming here for years to come :)“
“It is the best tourist trap that locals go to...skip tasty burger or shake shack in Harvard Sq and just go to Mr Bartleys for a superior burger at a very similar price pointBiggest issue is no public restroom for a sit down place, but its the city's fault not the business“
“wonderful staff. they engage in your interests and ask about how you feel with the tea you get. tried their pu-erh and it is definitely high quality. also bought a vegan wrap from them. great blend of spices and sauce. slightly too much spice that overpowered the tahini (bought the bing bang wrap) but still delicious. If i ever go to another show at the sinclair again I will definitely eat there beforehand“
“Chris is a talented chef and a kind host. He was attentive to our unique tastes and was informative on the decisions for each dish. His description of the dishes and how they paired with sake made the experience memorable. The ingredients felt fresh and special. Absolutely worth a special evening.“
“We visited the location on the MIT campus (it’s on the second floor of the student center and is only open on weekdays). Wow! So many delicious options that are all gluten free (with one exception). The arepas were fantastic! Order two if you’re hungry! They take a little longer than the bowls so if you’re in a hurry opt for the bowls instead. One in our family has celiac and didn’t have any issues. We’ll definitely go back!Dietary restrictions: All of the items (with one exception) are gluten free. They take special precautions against cross contamination and one of us who has celiac disease had no issues.“
“I tried Surya Indian Kitchen and found the food to be flavorful. If you're looking for a good butter chicken or chicken tikka masala they are a good spot to check out. They do not have any seating, so be prepared to take out.Overall, not the best Indian food I've had in the Boston area, but they do offer a fully halal menu and a fairly broad variety of options. I was a bit disappointed by the naan. It may be store bought? I'm not sure, but it didn't taste very fresh and didn't have that fluffiness most fresh naan will have. Either way, a solid place to try!“
“It is very busy at noon on weekdays, but there is no shortage of seats. It feels like everyone is enjoying their leisure time amidst the noise. The food is delicious, there is a gluten friendly menu, there is no vegan food (you can adjust it yourself without adding anything), and you can't just make egg white.“
“Great building and a wonderful quaint restaurant is inside. Cozy seating in several small rooms. The menu includes seafood and pastas and more. My date started with the zucchini fritters and then had the fish and chips. I had the kale salad with salmon. My only complaint with my food was the hot salmon wilted the kale. I was just expecting a crisp salad. Not to worry though. Wine was a generous pour. Our waiter, Jeffrey was fantastic. Very attentive. There was live music playing starting at 6 PM which was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Probably best to make a reservation as it's a small space.“
“YUMMY! I went on a Sunday at around 1:30/2pm and there was such a long wait. I probably waited in line for 20 min, then another 5 to get my order, so I wouldn't recommend if you are in a rush. But parking was easy enough. And when it was my turn to order, wow, I wanted to try everything in the pastry case! I ended up getting the earthquake cookies, a chocolate chip cookie, baklava, and a donut with some kind of chocolate frosting and a creamy filling. Wow, everything was amazing, especially the donut! Would love to come back for lunch sometime and try more of their menu items :) very interesting flavors and offers!“
“The inside of the restaurant is nice and welcoming. The staff are very friendly as well! I’ve ordered takeout from here 4 times now and honestly it’s become my exclusive go to and somewhere I consistently recommend to others. The food tastes just like the Chinese food I had as a kid in Europe that was fresh, authentic, and simply delicious. The egg fried rice (ask for no soy sauce), the volcano chicken, and the chicken in black bean sauce are no brainers (as in delicious and generous portions). The peking ravioli (only had steamed) is one of the better ones I’ve had in the Boston area too! Service is fast as well. Tasty, authentic, great portion size and service - what more can you ask for?“
“The food at this place is delicious, and they offer items which a lot of other nearby restaurants do not. I have gotten take out and eaten there, and I have enjoyed both experiences. If I had to choose one thing that I disliked about this restaurant, it would be that I wish more of their delivery options could be made without sugar/palm sugar.“
