Here for work, missed lunch traveling, was at the bar/restaurant right at open at 4 for just a quick bite. Ordered the lobster roll (when in Rome, right) and it came loaded with both lobster and a huge side of fries. Wasn’t expecting all of that, left fries even. Lobster could have used a pinch of salt but no complaints really.
I ordered clam chowder and a lobster roll. The clam chowder was actually really good IMO. It had 0 remnants of sand!! The waiter asked me if I liked chicken noodle soup and brought me some to try. It was okay, not the best I've ever had, and not better than the chowder at all. On to the lobster roll, I always forget to ask if the lobster is hot or cold. I ordered the roasted chicken breast and was warned it's cooked fresh and will take 25 minutes to cook. Glad I waited, the breast was cooked perfectly - moist & tender and properly seasoned. It came with Brussels sprouts which needed more time cooking, too hard. The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. Service was simple & spot on ( I sat at the bar). It's located on n the middle of the hotel, wide open, no walls or thrills.
