“Visited this place on a sunday and was not disappointed! It runs like a well oiled machine. We got hot lobster rolls and the chowder. It was wonderful. The owner came out and made sure our sandwiches were on point, replacing one (fried fish) that was a little bit overcooked. He came back multiple times to make sure we all loved our food. This is a guy that really cares about his place. Definitely go here if you are visiting. Five stars definitely“
“Amazing deli sandwiches, but glad we got here early as the lines form for lunch super quick. The person who I was with and I both had pastrami sandwiches with half sour pickles. I couldn't believe how quiet the restaurant was. We were able to find a seat no problem and our sandwiches came out about 5-6 minutes after we ordered it. When I say that the pastrami melted in your mouth, it was just so flavorful and juicy. Where we live, we don't have places like this, so this was definitely a treat.“
“This place is fantastic. We’ve been dinning at the Wellesley’s store for about one year now and have no complaints. Staff is super professional and amicable. Chef Luke makes me drive all the way from Quincy to Wellesley for a cup of coffee now that the job is over. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Food is terrific“
“The Serranito sandwich is the best deli sandwich I’ve ever had. We were in Boston for 3 days with a full food itinerary, stopped in here on day one and had to come back a second time before we left. The sandwiches are big, easy to split between two people. Freshly sliced ham, incredible cheese, crispy toasted bread, garlic aioli…this is our favorite place we ate in Boston. A must eat!!!“
“Brian is amazing!! My order was wrong and I called and brian fixed me a new order free of charge and threw in an additional little surprise!! GREAT customer service especially in the times that we are in now!! I am a travel nurse here in Boston for the first time helping out with the COVID crisis at Massachusetts General, and it’s always good to meet great people!! So thanks again brian!!“
“I reached out to Mai and her team SUPER LAST MINUTE to create an 'elevated tropical' themed space/backdrop for a virtual event in our office in the Seaport. Mai circled the wagons on her team quickly and they were committed to help make the event a success. Mai is SUPER professional, prompt, imaginative, and truly a delight to work with. The room came out great, they stayed within our budget and we were so happy with the result. I would use Mai and her team at BG Concepts again in a heartbeat!“
“Came here for a late breakfast, since it was close to our hotel. Can't say enough good things about the place. Prices were reasonable, especially for being in the heart of the city. Portions were generous and everything tasted great! I had the traditional breakfast with bacon and it came with a heaping pile of home fries, and a couple. nice slices of sourdough toast. My only complaint is that the bacon wasn't thickly sliced. My daughter had the Challah French toast and gave it two thumbs up!“
“I have been enjoying Chicken and Rice guys since it was a line of food trucks!Whether you order from the kiosk or the counter the food comes out immediately - they know how to move the lunch crowd along. I always get the chicken on rice. And I usually get the garlic sauce, the barbeque sauce or some mix of the two. It's consistently good, but your other options are tofu or gyro - but I've never had either. They have cans of soda (coke company!) and some house made beverages. Always a delicious meal. This is the only brick and mortar location I've ever been to - and though I liked the Cheeseboy that was here years before, Chicken and Rice guys is a step up. (The cheeseboy lives on in a rectangular garbage slot in the center trashcan console that is the exact shape of the cheeseboy sandwich boxes)My less favorite things. The Kiosk is right in front of the door, so if a customer is slow at the kiosk, folks queue up and block the door. I'm also not a fan of the hard plastic to go containers.“
“I recently had Spinellis cater my daughter’s baptism. Everything was amazing! The staff was so helpful with recommendations and assisting with how much food to order. Delivery was prompt and the food was delicious (the eggplant parm was the best I’ve had). The cake came exactly how I pictured it, beautiful and fresh and the buttercream frosting was delicious! All the guests raved about everything. Highly recommend for your next event!“
“We and our kids love this place! Of all the many ice cream stores on Newbury or downtown Boston this is our favorite. They have so many delicious flavors it's wonderful to try different ones depending on our mood. The service is friendly and efficient. And it's so cool that anyone getting ice cream there can feel incredibly good about giving money to a company that works so hard to do the right thing in their business decisions. Ben & Jerry's was a pioneer of using organic milk, avoiding growth hormones, cows from factory farms and supporting family farmers. They are one of the company's that sets the high mark for how companies choose to operate and do well by doing good - like Patagonia, Whole Foods, Gap, AllBirds, Levi's, Life Alive, Chipolte...“
“I absolutely love this spot! My favorite bbq in the city if I'm being honest. Portions are amazing, always have leftovers! Service is amazing and they will answer any questions you have! Plus, outdoor seating is the best in the summer!“
“We honestly didn't know what to expect with the Four Handed Illusionist Show, however, it was beyond our expectations. The comedy mixed with the magic and illusions was so exciting. We were there for my brother's birthday. We were greeted by a wonderful hostess named Rachel and the unbelievable top notch customer service from the barmaid's Alyssa and Bau. All three of those ladies were amazing and I love to bump into them again. Rachel was super accommodating and always had a smile. The barmaid's had wonderful drink suggestions, smiles, customer service and told us how much we would enjoy the show.Well, the main attraction was the 2 gentlemen that put on an unbelievable show. I remember magic since I was little and you don't see that anymore. I would come back to the see the show with other friends or family members again and again.I love that it was required to dress up because when you look good, you feel good and what else was nice...It was a very intimate show that was super interactive with the audience. You were never put on the spot, you were always part of the show. If you haven't seen it get yourself a few tickets and go“
