Love this place. I’ve been coming here since I moved to Boston in 2018 and now that I live outside of the city, I still will make the trip to come here. I always get the el guapo burrito and the plantains. It is perfect every single time. It never misses. We tell anyone that comes to visit to come here so they could love this place as much as we do
Tacos was the goal so we decided El Pelón Taquería. We were lucky enought to get parking right in front. There is a nice setup outdoors but I Wish they had more indoor seating because Boston is cold outside right now. The place seemed surface clean. I had to wet napkins with water from the soda machine and wipe the table down. And under the table needed to be swept. Chicken and steak tacos were good and flavorful. Clean, small space with 2 tables and bar type seating. It seems it caters to students. The service was good , however the food lacked any flavor. My carnitas burrito was bland almost tasteless and needed a good amount of hot sauce so I could finish it. The issue is with the hot sauce, it just tastes hot. It is not a substitute for flavor or spices.In all, a good place to go to in a pinch, but there are other places nearby I'd like to try.
