Five-10 waterfront Reviews
Overall, this was a nice experience to start our New England vacation. The rooms are fine but are starting to show some wear. My 2 comments are how hot the hotel was especially during the night which for me makes it hard to sleep. I suspect that there might be a setting for air conditioning to dial back during the early morning hours before sunrise. The second comment is regarding the breakfast. Service was really slow and I did not enjoy the food. I got the avocado toast and...read full review
Lovely staff, beautiful rooms, very clean. The location is more in the financial district of Boston so it's perfect if you are on a business trip. It is a little further from North End and Downtown for sightseeing and restaurants. Towels were a little rough, would have expected better quality for a hotel this nice. Additionally, water temperature was very difficult to keep stable. It took a long time to warm up and then it got way way too hot. Valet was a little rude to us when...read full review
This is our first visit to the hotel in 4 years. Certain aspects of the hotel remain superb. Patrick, the senior Bell Boy co-ordinates activities out side the hotel. The conciege staff led by Rob along with Adam are full of suggestions and keen to assist. Some reception staff are willing to help and others lack some basic knowledge on the hotel. In time, this might improve. Yaro the reception manager is aware of these shortcomings. IHG Ambassador status was not dully recognised...read full review
Five-10 waterfront offers a nice experience with fine rooms that are starting to show some wear. The hotel can be quite hot at night, making it hard to sleep. The breakfast service is slow, with some guests not enjoying the food quality. The concierge is helpful, and the staff are friendly. The location is more suited for business trips rather than sightseeing. Some guests found the towels rough and had issues with water temperature. Valet service was reported as rude by some guests. While some staff members are helpful, others lack knowledge about the hotel. The food and beverage offering, especially breakfast, was a letdown with limited choices and poor presentation. The Club Lounge lacked proper labeling of food and utensils for guests with dietary concerns. The hotel's common areas were occasionally littered with used trays, and attention to detail was lacking. Overall, the hotel has some superb staff but has let standards slip in certain areas.
