Have been to restaurant multiple Times ,food and service always good ,however went for drinks recently to have lunch with friends visiting Boston .We sat at the bar but Unfortunately bartender service was terrible ,even when we asked about drinks on menu.The restaurant was not busy .Ended up leaving without having dinner or additional drinks. Need to bring back the good bartenders we are accustomed to at florentine as it is really an excellent restaurant

Florentine Cafe is a true gem in the North End with excellent service and a charming atmosphere. The lobster fra diablo and lobster ravioli are highly recommended, with the ravioli aragosta being a standout, packed with real lobster and very memorable. Customers also enjoy linguine with clams, chicken Marsala, and fusilli with vodka sauce. The French Toast with berry compote and Florentine omelet for brunch are popular choices. The small dining area features windows that let in fresh air and sunlight, especially if visited early. The atmosphere is noisy but pleasant and cozy. The food is excellent and outstanding, with delicious rigatoni bolognese and a fresh caprese salad. The bread and dipping oil are amazing. The service is fabulous, pleasant, and spot on, with staff who are very accommodating. It is a great spot for delicious food and friendly service, making it a must-visit in the area.
