The service was very good, but the food was average and did not live up to the hype that surrounds the restaurant. I didn’t consider anything to be bad, but we left underwhelmed. The scallops were decent but not special and the Milanese Maiele (pork) was just ok. The location of the restaurant also lacks any charm which is a shame because of how much I have enjoyed so many other parts of Boston.
Quality ingredients. A sublime attention to detail. Balance in salty, umami and heat. The broccoli Caesar is a must have along with the homemade ricotta. I sat at Chefs counter and got wonderful attention from everyone. Amazing!
Phenomenal food, wine, and service. Some the best food I’ve had in Boston.
