“I almost never post reviews, but my experience here was unique and such a bright spot In my day, that I felt compelled to share it. The food was fantastic, but the people are what struck me. The owner was kind and genuine, and the customers, who I’m assuming were regulars, were equally kind and welcoming. One of them even got up from his table, drinking coffee to open the door for me On my way out. It made my day to do business with such a hard-working, local, small business owner! I will be back.“

“Came back to my hometown to visit family for breakfast. We looked for a local place, and found The Diner in Watertown sq area. My family of 7 that day could not stop raving about how great the food was!! Everything was delish, cooked perfectly and even the coffee was perfect.Despite the lack of parking , I feel it was well worth the walk from where we found parking to the restaurant.“

“Everything was delicious. The eggs benedict was as great as I was told it would be, and the FRENCH toast exceeded the already high reviews. I wish the french toast came with one or two more slices, but it was still absolutely delicious.Vegetarian options: Florentine Benny is a very good vegetarian option.“

“Visited for a quick breakfast, a bit of a queue was building up, but we were lucky and got a table straight away, so I think booking is recommended. Atmosphere is vintage USA with matching music. Our waitress was attentive and her high energy added to the experience. Food was generous and delicious, great experience.“

“I got some bagels from here not too long ago as a pick up order. While I can't comment on the service and atmosphere eating in the establishment, I can see that these bagels are fantastic. As someone who has lived in New York, I feel that I have a say on what good bagels are like. I feel that Boston in general does not have an established bagel presence that New York does. However, exodus feels close to the average New York bagel does.“

“The food tasted fresh and presentation was simple but thoughtful. The prices were very reasonable for this area. Cash only, but there is an ATM there. Was offered coffee as my beverage when sitting down at 1230pm, I accepted, it tasted rather weak. I would have rather been offered a beverage in general not just coffee. I know they have other beverages there. Village salad just like greek salad, fruit bowl was exceptional with many varieties of fresh fruit.“

“Been eating at a lot of diners in the Boston area to break up the winter blahs. Most we’ve eaten at were okay, but nothing to write home about, until now. We arrived around 11 am on a weekday during a January cold spell. First good sign, the place was humming! The menu was extensive offering both breakfast and lunch. I had an omelette, my son, the French toast. It was an immediate hit. For him, the gold standard of French toast is at the Grand Floridian at Disney World. For the first time ever, and he’s 22, the French toast here surpassed that of the Grand Floridian. Kudos! As far as my omelette, it was delicious as well! No one ingredient outdid the other. It was cooked perfectly without being burnt. The scali toast was delicious! I had a side of fries. They were steak fries. Love them! For the most part, restaurants don’t serve those anymore, so that was an extra win!Our waitress was Tina, an absolute delight! She knows her stuff - friendly, professional, and able to handle multiple tables with ease. So, if you’re in the mood for some great diner food that doesn’t break the bank, head over to the Iron Town Diner. You won’t be disappointed.Parking: The diner is located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Highchairs were visible.“

“Creative breakfast sandwich option in North End.With most of the breakfast options in North End being the usual American diner fare, Sunny Girl brings a breadth of fresh air to the neighborhood’s breakfast offerings. I recently took a visit to try a couple of their sandwiches and had a satisfying experience.Although the cafe was a bit small, it exuded a casual yet chic vibe that matched the quality of their sandwiches. They also shined with their house-made English muffins, which laid a moist and fluffy foundation for most of their creative sandwich lineup. One of chef’s favorite, the Lox was an ensemble of smoked salmon, creamy mascarpone, and confit fennel, topped with a refreshing citrus salad. The grapefruit's citrusy notes beautifully complemented the fennel's aroma, and modest portions of salmon allowed these toppings to shine through.A tribute to North End's Italian roots, Truffle Shuffle featured Tomato Conserva spread on one side of the focaccia and Basil Gremolata on the other. Its rich Italian flavors were further enhanced with black truffle pecorino, burrata, and pancetta. The East Coast Tuna was also an elevated take on the classic tuna salad sandwich. The crunchy iceberg lettuce and sweet onion added texture, while the Wild Sicilian Oregano provided a subtle yet distinct flavor twist. An interesting note was the unconventional wrapping of the sandwiches, with the aluminum side inside and the paper outside. I’m not sure if this was intentional, but the paper side is usually on the inside to absorb excess moisture. Thankfully, it didn’t affect the sandwiches that much as we had them within 15 minutes.Overall, Sunny Girl does a great job of packing refined flavors into sandwiches. While these might not constitute a hefty meal, they offer a delightful start to the day. Highly recommend giving them a try.Parking: No street parking available nearby.“

“Richy's has been around since 1954 and it's clear why. Had a great breakfast- eggs toast hash and sausages- with fresh coffee for $11. The ladies working the counter know everybody and it's just a great welcoming place. Will be taking my daughter for breakfast soon.“

“That idyllic breakfast/lunch diner feeling right in the city's heart. I stopped in for my birthday breakfast, going with pancakes with a scrambled egg and some bacon; the bacon came off the plate and my waitress was so sorry, though I assured her no harm was done. I ate in comfort, was readily attended to, and left a clean plate. Next time I'm in Boston I will most definitely return here.“
“As new tenants to the building, we are absolutely blessed to have Eda's Cafe available for breakfast, lunch, and office catering. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the food is both entirely homemade and delicious. I might end up 100lbs heavier with a place like this to get breakfast and lunch every day! If I could give more stars, I would!“

“Lots of people who can get the job done without the distractions and a good breakfast that was affordable before 99% of businesses auto inflated their prices. I’m not really looking but this place seems very stable as far as pricing goes and the quality of food and service has been 9 of 10 for around 30 years now. Maybe more. Think about how many places have come and gone. I hope this place gets to stick around as long as they like. I guess it helps they only take cash and you dont pay a premium to a middle man and fancy app that makes throwing money out the window so easy. Just call, order and then pickup in 20 minutes and have some spare change to pay your credit debt. It’ll help you digest your breakfast.Vegetarian options: The Greek omelet is amazing. And light rye toast should not be hard to find. You can find it hereKid-friendliness: Hi chairs and families everywhere. About as normal as Roslindale gets with a mix of blue and white collar families co-mingling.“

“Good spot for breakfast north of Boston. Most of my food was pretty good, and they do give you lots of it.I got their buffalo chicken waffles special, which was obviously something a little different but I thought it was tasty. Their homefries were nothing to write home about, pun fully intended. They were pretty mushy with only a few crispy spots.Servers were very nice. Line cooks were fast too.Didn't try any yet so I don't know how they are, but they have a wide variety of muffins behind the counter. It is great that the price is right here. Very hard to find restaurants around Boston that actually give you a decent amount of food at a reasonable price.“

“I only eat here once in a blue moon years before but recently I have been ordering through delivery and it has not disappointed me at all. I had the chicken(tenders)&waffle on Thursday and it was HEAVEN!! Then Friday I ordered the egg&bacon sandwich on dark rye with a bowl of grits. Delicious again! Now I am putting in another order today on Saturday and so far nothing on the menu is a miss. Keep up the great work Brothers!!“

“I was just informed recently that this place exists and I am so glad! It's a small spot with a couple of tables inside and a few outside as well. It's a CASH ONLY establishment, FYI.The iced tea comes in medium and large and the large is MASSIVE and tasty (plain brewed black iced tea) We each got muffins grilled with butter. I got the French vanilla muffin and it was delicious. R got a chocolate chip muffin and we both tried both and agree that they're delicious and that we want to go back. While we were outside, a gentleman who I'm guessing may be the owner, approached us to ask if we wanted plates for our muffins, and also offered refills on the massive iced teas, which we declined, this time, but it was so generous of him to offer! Absolutely 2 thumbs up, all the stars, A+ all around!“
“I have to leave a review because the several years that I've been to this restaurant he's always been wicked nice! Food is always been consistently good. That being said, now being a vegan, the only thing I can eat there is maybe hash browns and a banana. I almost feel like it would be too much to ask for him to make some thing vegan, but you can just tell that the food is made with love in every bite.“

“This is a go-to breakfast spot for me when I find myself in Medford (or passing thru) before lunchtime. Food, portions and coffee is very good, and nicely priced. Service is very good when I've been there (between 6:30 - 8:30 most often). The booths are on the smaller side and counter seating is a little "tight".Parking: New parking meters have been installed, eliminating free parking. There are many businesses in the area, so I suspect parking becomes more of a problem as the day gets later.“
“How is the best New York style pizza in town inside a bakery?? BHOP is a great Greek style but in the year that I worked in Braintree, I haven't found a better slice of NY pizza. The fact that I can get a cookie the size of my entire hand while I'm here doesn't hurt either. Friendly staff, good food, great prices - doesn't get any better than this. Well, it might when I make myself try something other than the pizza but it's sooo good!“

“It’s like visiting Downtown Boston in the 1987. It is remarkable how much is the same from the service to the food to the reasonable prices. I like the Chicken Salad on a Billie with hots and lettuce. Throw some Lays potato chips onto the sandwich for the full experience.“

“Ahmed, the owner, is a great and generous man. He has created a perfect place if you want to go somewhere with a great atmosphere, where the staff is friendly and accommodating to all needs. I have been there a few times now and every time have felt welcome, and have been served excellent food. Their breakfast sandwiches are perfect if you need a quick bite to eat before work, or if you go for lunch their menu is excellent offering a wide variety of selections. I honestly would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for something great to eat in the Brighton area of Boston.“
