“Ilona and Irina are the best!!! We loved working with the Solodko team for our wedding. The wedding cake they created far exceeded what we hoped for (and the cake was what I was most excited about outside marrying my person and being with loved ones!). Ilona was extremely responsive, creative, thoughtful and enthusiastic throughout the entire process. Our cake was not only breathtakingly beautiful, but tasted amazing. I had many people rave about their cake to me at the reception, and even one dear friend who shared she had three slices! Even though the cake was bigger than the number of folks attending, there were no leftovers.I could not recommend Solodko more highly. The cake was stunning and delicious and the experience working with the Solodko team could not have been more positive. “Mamadou's bakery is the best I've been to, hands down. As soon as you walk in, you're hit with the aroma of freshly baked bread. It's so delicious that you'll quickly forget that over half of the bread is already sold out.When the fresh bread comes out of the oven, it smells and tastes heavenly. “I came here solely for the cream of wheat because I was intrigued as to why people were so gung ho about it in the reviews. I was able to order a large cup to-go for $4. The ordering process was a bit weird because there is no front desk/register when you walk in, so I had to awkwardly wait at the entrance next to people who were eating. This place is also cash-only so keep that in mind if you come.I will preface this by saying that I have never had cream of wheat before, so I did not know what it should taste like and how it would compare elsewhere. I was able to eat about a third of the generous portion that they gave me. It tasted like a cinnamon-y congee: chunky, warm, and sweet. I was a bit iffy about the taste at first, but it grew on me the more I ate it. The sweetness did get overwhelming, though, which is why I couldn't finish it in one sitting, but I can see why this is comforting for so many people.Overall, I liked it. I can't speak to anything else on their menu, but I'll probably be back one day.“

“Wow, what a delicious bakery! Tried the olive fougasse and the chocolate pretzel croissant. Both were phenomenal - the olive flavor and buttery layers in the fougasse were divine - but the chocolate croissant blew us away. Might be one of the best food items in all of Boston! There are different types of seating, including counter stools and a large table.I got a plain croissant that was warmed up, and an iced chai latte. Both were tasty, but while I wouldn't get the croissant again, there were other treats that I want to try in the future.“

“The little cakes and drinks are seasonal but they're so cute and delicious. I went in August and got a mango and a rose cake and a lavender drink. This January there was an apple and a hazelnut cake. They also made us a mocha latte that was so chocolatey and delicious. “If you want a breakfast sandwich that literally makes your eyes roll back into your head- this is the place to go!!! I am sincerely always delighted with anything I've ever ordered at this restaurant- savoring every bit til the last bite. The interior is cute, the staff is friendly, and it's located in a quite area that has both indoor and outdoor seating. While this place is incredible, the seating is pretty limited inside, so I wouldn't recommend eating-in for large groups (4+). But if you're looking for a brunch date spot or somewhere to-go this place never misses. My favorite sandwich is 'the market' (photo attached).“

“Tatte is probably my favorite restaurant. I am usually really happy with what I order, and a few dishes (shakshuka and croque madame, nutbox, I'm looking at you) are my favorite foods anywhere. I have some constructive criticism though.First, ditch the round cafe tables. One plate takes the whole table, leaving no space for your friend to eat comfortably with you. Forget about setting your laptop up while eating.Second, some of the desserts need adjustments. Overall, anything lemon based needs more lemon and less sugar. When I bite into a lemon meringue tart or a pavlova, I expect to taste a bright, citrusy, refreshing curd. It's missing here - all I get is the intense sweetness of meringue.Overall, Tatte is great! Keep doing awesome things. Visitors should be sure to try the lemonade (best anywhere), the brownies (with nuts!!), and the shakshuka. Pear tarts and (when in season) stone fruit gallette are always a win!“

“I was excited to try this bakery, and it didn't disappoint! At Friday around 8am there was no line outside and plenty of items on display. I ordered the almond croissant, and wow was it was amazing. Buttery and flaky with a generous, even layer of frangipane throughout. I really appreciate how they make sure to fill even the ends of the almond croissant with a liberal amount of filling (oftentimes, I've found that bakeries only place filling towards the middle of the croissant). There's no seating inside, but there are some benches outside if you want to enjoy your pastries immediately. I recommend toasting them at home first - it was delicious warmed up!“

Their menu doesn’t really change but I always order the same things each time I’m there. It’s a very small place but they do have a few tables and bathrooms.“

My guests loved the mouhamra dip, the baba ganoush, the humus, , the beet dip and especially the yogurt . At the restaurant, we enjoyed the cheese bread baked that morning. If you like your baklava with pistachio, that’s the place to buy it. Loved everything and the service was superior.“

“The menu is quite expansive, so this is a good catering option. I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food, so I’ve tried a lot of different places in Boston. Compared to other places, I wouldn’t say Sultana’s makes the cut for my favorites, but it wasn’t bad.- Spinach feta quiche: The portion size is good, but the flavor was bland. I wasn’t able to finish it.- Cookies: The cookies weren’t overly sweet, which I liked. They were crumbly yet soft.- Fruit yogurt pastry: This was my favorite. I liked that they are bite-sized (though, this is also dangerous because you’ll end up eating a lot). The pastry was flaky, and the yogurt was sweet, which balanced the tartness of the fruits.- Caprice acma: I wasn’t a fan of this. The acma was too doughy. Maybe it would have tasted better warm.Happy to have tried a new place, but I probably wouldn’t come back.“

I'm a big fan of the maple lattes as well, not overly sweet but still decadent.Dietary restrictions: Pumpkin seed pesto is a lovely menu inclusion for a nut allergic individual!“

They serve a variety of Haitian savory and sweet treats which are bound to satisfy any craving. The interior is pretty small so definitely more of a grab-and-go spot, but felt clean and homey. We got a patty and a cake to share, both of which were pretty delicious! The patty took a bit of time to heat up, but other than that, service was pretty solid. The price wasn't too bad, albeit a bit on the pricier side, and overall, I wouldn't mind coming back to some of their other selections in the future. Figured I’d finally stop in when I was in the neighborhood and BOY! so pleasantly taken aback by the friendly staff, a super cute space, and delicious looking pastries to choose from. I often ordered the fancy croissants that had interesting flavors, seems like they always do at least one, but I also tried a cake slice (bar? tart?) I dont know. It was great. Gluten free cherry situation. I definitely would not have normally steered that way but the staff member suggested it and it was great!As for the sandwiches, they’re the tastiest and cheesy deliciousness you want for brekkie. “Exquisite pastries. The hazelnut cream, the tarte au citron were 2 of my favorites. The meringue on the tarte was so airy, the hazelnut flavor light and moreish. Coffee eclairs have a depth of flavor...and well the chocolate fondant and cake were all one could expect. Very buzzy at 11 am and service with a smile!“

“Bought my Bundt cake outside of South Station and it was freezing and super windy! I was craving chocolate, so Miguel at the "Nothing Bundt cakes" stand surely appealed to me. I chose the chocolate, chocolate chip and was surprised to hear it was only $6's!!!! After tasting the cake I would have gladly paid more. Sooo good!!! Miguel was awesome as well, even with the weather conditions he was so happy to share the product with me. He even gifted me his favorite flavor. Strawberries and cream,super yummy as well. “Katie made my son’s first birthday cake and I can honestly say it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had, maybe even the best! Everyone at our party complimented it and wanted to know where I got it from. I did chocolate buttercream in the middle, and it was absolutely delicious. I have another son’s birthday coming up in the next two weeks that we ordered another cake from her for and I cannot wait to eat her delicious cake again.She was so responsive and very friendly. She even gave us a thank you cookie with the cake that was absolutely delicious as well!“

“Four cakes in 3 years from Weesh, all have exceeded expectations. Elyse is incredibly talented and wonderful to work with. She recently made my son the most incredible Cars themed cake for his birthday. The most unique part about Weesh is that she decorates with buttercream which tastes so much better than fondant! The cakes still look gorgeous and bonus, every cake is as delicious as it is beautiful.“

“For my first visit, I tried the signature chocolate chip walnut cookie that started it all. $5.25 was quite expensive for a cookie, but the cookie was very heavy. I liked the crispiness of the outside and the thick, gooey center. The walnut taste was distinguishable but subtle. I definitely recommend heating up the cookie to melt the chocolate chips because it tasted better that way. However, it also tasted fine at room temperature.The inside had a cool mural of Boston but no seating. However, there are seats outside, which would be nice in the summer. It was empty when I went, so service was fast.“

“It took me waiting 16 minutes in line just to get an sfogliatella BUT it was so worth it. It looks like just a piece of bread but when you bite into the crunchy, flakey outside and into the ricotta interior, there's an explosion of flavors in your mouth. There is some kind of spice in the sfogliatella, too, that I could taste. I see now what the hype is all about. It made for the perfect merenda. The bakers really care about their craft. I wanted to get more stuff but turns out (I should have known this) they are cash only (no tax on the sfogliatella though). So come prepared with cash!“

“Hands down the best bakery in the ENTIRE WORLD and if you can’t get behind that it’s definitely the best bakery in the greater Boston area (even featured in The Boston Globe). I have had almost everything thing this bakery has to offer and I can confidently, whole-heartedly, swear that they can do not wrong (there was this one pastry I didn’t like but it had to be a me problem). The owner has perfected the art of flakiness and any croissant like pastry will leave trail of happiness and crumbs. The staff is incredible as well, true gems. Each visit of mine consists of warm greetings and endearing smiles as they fill my bag with delightful treats, sometime I even get an extra morning bun. My favorite is the everything croissant, an explanation will do no justice you’ll just have to try it yourself and you’ll want to get there early before they sell out. Another favorite of mine are the unique cardamom swirls. I bet you’ve never heard of such a thing. Again you’ll just have to go try it. In the afternoon they serve pizza with brilliant (vegetarian friendly) topping combinations and fabulous flavor. Furthermore, I the bakery is women owned, queer owned, LGBTQIA+ plus friendly, and is more welcoming than Starbucks and Tatte adjacent places. I can not speak highly enough of this bakery and if you’ve been searching for something new look no further.The worst thing, I’ve experience are the rude customers that come in at near closing and expect extra efforts from an already amazing hardworking early rising staff. Please go and support. They deserve it and you deserve a treat.“

The staff was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The donuts did taste fresh and were really delicious. The fruity pebble donut was my favorite along with the cheese only Korean corn dog!“
