“I tried Worcester Sweets with my friend yesterday. It is a nice spot with very friendly staff. The iced vegan chai I got was very good, but there weren't any vegan options for food. I will most likely be back for another drink but it would be nice if there was something I could eat as well.“
“My husband and I decided to try this bakery at last after seeing it on Facebook. We got an apple turnover and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was fantastic! The apple turnover was very flaky, though it could have used just a bit more filling. The parking is ample and the ambience of the bakery is clean and open. Maybe not a place to grab a full meal for breakfast, but certainly a great place for a quick sweet treat or to meet a friend for coffee. The only changes I would make are to post prices somewhere - there weren't any that I could see for either drinks or the bakery items, except for the day old section (based on what we paid, I'm thinking each pastry was probably in the $4.50-$5 range?). I would also in the future love to see some not coffee options like tea or hot chocolate. I don't personally drink coffee, so I got a bottle of water instead from their refrigerator. We will certainly be back!“

“I cannot say enough good things about On The Rise Bakery! Mara helped me make the most AMAZING surprise rehearsal dinner groom's cake for my husband. It had all of his favorites things on it, and was a decadent chocolate and peanut butter cream filling. Everyone loved it!!! She also made my wedding cake! The Flower design was breathtaking!! And no surprise, this cake also tasted fab! My guests are still talking about it! We did vanilla and chocolate cake with chocolate and espresso buttercream, SOOOO GOOD! I called on Tuesday to ask about a cake in their case and was told that if need to special order it, when I said I needed it that day the man who answer the phone said no problem and it was ready that afternoon!! Everyone at my house was raving about the vanilla cake with custard and ganache topping! The cake was amazing. Delicate cake with a delicious filling and the frosting - the best I’ve ever had! “What a wonderful time I had this weekend shopping at , Orawa Polish Deli in Webster, MA. Both, husband and wife owners there were the most beautiful people I’ve had the pleasure to meet under these circumstances since I was a little boy growing up in a Polish neighborhood in Connecticut. Purchased a ring of their premium kielbasa, hand made pirogis and other types of Polish sausage and a large cheese babka, took everything home and fed these delightful foods to my non polish wife and sister in law and brother in law… they were blown away..!!! I’ll be back for Christmas and Easter..!!“
“Went to a decorate your own cookie class that Michelle had at a local distillery, Deep Roots Distillery in Sturbridge, and not only were the instructions clear and easy to follow and the night was super fun, but OMG the best part was trying the cookies afterwards! THESE COOKIES TASTED AMAZING!!! I've tried other professional sugar cookies in my area and, although the cookies were beautiful, they tasted horrible; they were bland or tasted like cardboard. These cookies were not too sweet, were surprisingly soft for being a thicker sugar cookie and even without the frosting they tasted A-Mazing! They were sooo good! ????“
“I called to order a two tier cake for my wedding May 8, 2023 and Paula made sure to get all the information she needed and was pleasant to talk with. Paula contacted me about any issue that arose to confirm my permission for changes and I really appreciate that. She delivered the cake to our venue on time. The cake was very delicious! I was a tad worried that the buttercream frosting would be too sweet but it wasn’t, everything from the appearance to the taste of the cake was perfect for us and our guests enjoyed it as well. I’m super happy I contacted Cakes by Paula and I recommend others should too, she does a really amazing job with her cakes and I’m grateful for the effort she put into our wedding cake.
