“A small bakery with a wide selection, it has an Italian Pastry Shop vibe that would be at home on Federal Hill.Of all the delights they had available, I decided on the Bismark and it was pretty much perfect. Pretty much a bisected doughnut filled with cream, it was sweet and fluffy. I would go back for one with little hesitation.My wife got a raspberry twist, which fell far from perfection, tasting rather dry and unappealing. The cookie we shared was similar - something somewhat dry and ultimately forgettable. The twist and cookie would have been grand with a coffee or tea, but they did not stand well on their own.The service was fine, though it felt on the cold side. Eating our pastries in the store, it didn't feel welcoming despite there being tables and such.Would I go back?Yes, though I would probably take my goodies to go rather than hang about.“

The variety of donuts was a little of everything from classic donuts, fritters, sticks, donut holes etc. I had the Oreo & cake crumbl donuts and both were delicious!! I ordered a cake a month in advance and was beautiful it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. we had a bad experience with a restaurant dropping the cake and we didn't got a chance to eat it, but after explaining the situation to them they were able to do a second cake, last minute, same day, it was a more simple one compared to the first one but I was impress and with endless gratitude because I would not expect any baker to make a same day cake and specially as nice as the one they did. they went above and beyond on the experience, the flavor of the cake is great and the detail they put on their work is amazing! could not recommend them enough!Thank you!“

However, to be perfectly honest, the texture on some of the other things was just a bit off (for example, hard crusts, or, in the case of the cannoli, super soft shell). Some of the flavors, too. Some of the faves among the group were the chocolate peanut butter cup, vanilla birthday crunch and strawberry crunch. The cake had a soft, moist crumb and full of flavor. The frostings were equally delicious! You can tell a lot of time and detail goes into making these treats. The owner was very nice and a pleasure to chat with. “I arrived at the end of the day, just before 6 PM weekday closing time. I got 3 pieces of pastry for about $7.00, not bad considering the rise of everything prices , since gas prices have gone thru the roof. An elephant ear, a large chocolate chip cookie, and a cinnamon stick(the best) for $7. I also gave serving staff a $1 tip, as they don't make much. They also have other soecialty pastries, like Russian tea cakes, homemade cookies, Italian bread, and rolls for sandwiches or meal side. Suggest to get their early for best selection. Open 6 days a week, around 9-6 weekdays, and closed Mondays. Not exactly sure if week end hours are the same. A nice sweet ending ? dessert after your dinner, or just some coffee and complements to share with friend or family get togethers. dessert adventures! ?“
