“Great drinks, delicious grub. Much better than I remember. The rice is excellent. Guac is ingredients made to order - go nuts, add extra lime, onions, whatever. Chicken was juicy, rare for a texmex. Street tacos and half half fajitas. Should have tried the beef tongue. Our server Mara was fantastic - attentive, hardworking, friendly - she should definitely get a raise and a day off.And the effing house habanero sauce - mirra, watch out.“

“I don't know how to describe this place. Then top tier hole on the wall mexican food. You would not expect this out of where its location is. But this is by far the best place to get El. Pastor tacos and berea tacos. Don't be afraid to order anything here. It's all very very good. Extremely polite staff and everything is top to your quality for a reasonable price. Never be afraid of stopping here.“
“A small to-go place, rather than a sit-in restaurant. The food is fresh and staff are friendly. I found a nice vibe in the (open) kitchen area, but there was something missing in the counter/waiting area. Can't tell exactly what it is, maybe the lighting is a bit dull or dark, or too much fluorescent-ish?Personally, I found the seasoning of meat (Carne Asada) was a bit toward salty side. Overall a nice place to grab a to-go menu if live nearby, but probably not worth driving 20+ mins just to try here.“
“The empanadas have a nice light texture and flavor, we got two of each. The accompanying sauce was flavorful and spicy, but not too hot. The street corn was off the cob, but delicious and generous enough for 4 people. Everything tastes from scratch.“

The birria stew is the ABSOLUTE BEST and I cant decide if the birria ramen or the birria nachos I like more. My favorite though is the elote loco, it is perfect every single time. It’s big enough that you shouldn’t have to stress about a long wait for a table; they have a great kids menu (with French fries if your kids are picky); and adults can enjoy their excellent food and margaritas. Their menu is much better and sophisticated than the typical suburban Mexican restaurant. Definitely better than the options in Salem, last I checked. “I am from LA and so have been able to eat at great taquerias. Super Taco's tacos are better. Pretty unbelievable, as most of the tacos I have eaten in Massachusetts have not been good, and the Willows is a strange place to find the best tacos ever. But it's true. Chicken tinga, carnitas, fish, even ground beef -- they are all delicious. And as good as the proteins are, the corn tortillas they use, which I think they grill for bit, are amazing and may be what puts their tacos over the top. I can't speak about anything besides their tacos, because I won't get anything else there.Thank you Super Taco!!! You will be greatly missed over the winter.“
“While in Salem my boyfriend and I were starving and looking for a place to eat. The fact that there was no line during tourist season almost made me not want to eat here but after finding out they would cater to my picky boyfriend we stayed and I’m so HAPPY we stayed. “We were leaving an appointment Salem and caught a glimpse of the inside while we drove by, and we thought it was very unique, so we pulled over to check it out to our surprise. This place was beautifully designed and the environment was incredible, so we decided to stay to have some drinks and food and it was all great, right down to the service. We ordered some vegetarian tacos, and my wife ordered some meat ones, and we loaded everything about this placedefinitely. Check it out when you can. There's also one in haverhill, which I was surprised. Now. I don't have to go to salem if I ever want to go back“

But tonight, Sunday, they had karaoke, we love music and we love the atmosphere but they had the volume cranked up so loud we couldn’t talk at all. We asked if they could turn it down just a little so we could talk and hear each other while we ate and we got a, No. I was surprised she said no, because we couldn’t even talk or hear her and she couldn’t hear us ordering unless we were yelling, so we had to point to the menu for her to take our order. If you like to talk at dinner and don’t want a pounding headache then don’t go on a Sunday or any day they’re having karaoke, if we ever go back and the karaoke is going we’re turning around and leaving, it was ridiculously loud.“

“We tried this Edifer Pizza last night. We ordered two small pizzas and a chicken burrito - takeout. We were happy with our order. The burrito was solid, and I liked the hot sauce / salsa that came on the side. The pizza had a crisp crust and was very cheesy. Online ordering with Toast was super easy, as I use that for other local restaurants and already had an account. The staff was friendly. We will go again.“

The reviews saying there is a communication barrier are true, but don't let that scare you away. Friendly staff, just walk up to the food area if you want food and point at which items look good. We ended up with a huge plate of rice, beans, and some sort of beef dish for less than $15, it was enough for 2 people! Great food and great experience.“
