“Love the food here. Excellent choice for a fine dine. Saturday night hostess's were very welcoming. My waitress was wicked lovely. Blonde hosstess is very sweet. The other hostess with black hair is very kind. Love the boss. Been going here for years.“
“My wife and I recently moved to the Salem area and we were looking for a good Chinese restaurant and I asked some of my coworkers what they would suggest I try and they said try eighty-eight "it's the best stuff around." Omg, I have never had Chinese this good. This is everything done right. The shrimp are more like prawns, the vegetables are fresh, not frozen and the rice is so soft and fluffy.Highly recommend this place if you are tired of overly greasy been frozen for months tasting food and try this amazing place.“
“Fabulous experience tonight in this restaurant. Robin served us and she was amazing, so kind, sweet, patient, helpful, and friendly! Food was 100 percent delicious! Will go again for sure. Thank you again for the amazing experience tonight, you made my mother very happy too. Restaurant is very clean too, very important!Vegetarian options: We had tofu with veggies, beef chow fun, scallion pancakes were the best I ever had. Sauces with the dishes were great also.“
“As an out-of-towner with zero expectations or knowledge of the history of this place, I can tell you that this simple (huge) roast beef sandwich was outstanding. That beef is rare and tender, not the overcooked processed stuff I'm used to. The BBQ sauce is feisty! I added some horseradish to calm it down ? The bun was fresh and perfectly toasted. The staff at the drive through was very patient as I asked them all my questions. I'm very sad Cincinnati doesn't have a Kelly's because I would be a regular.“
“One of the oldest locations in Salem. The Lyceum is famous for its' longevity, history, and right now food. We ate lunch there and sat in front of the fireplace. The venue was very laid back with an atmosphere of going back in time. There is an air of energy I cannot explain other than going there yourself and experiencing it. Even though I wasn't sitting on the bar side, I managed to walk around and just get a good eye-look. The food was excellent as well as the service. Our waitress made sure we were taken care of and we didn't have a need to worry about asking for anything. The host at the entrance made sure to ask us while we were dining how the food and service were. This is a place you should visit. A bit pricey, but hell, so is everything else now-a-days. Might as well get great service and good food.“
“Stopped by looking for high quality sushi and was not disappointed. Although they were out of O-Toro, seeing the disappointment on my face the host graciously gave us kama toro on the house. Aside from the awesome customer service, the sushi quality was exquisite with a wider variety and personal touches that are hard to find outside of Japan. Will definitely be coming back here, the next time we are in the area!“
“If I could give 10 stars I would. We have been going to A&D for months now and probably once a week on average. My 9yo son asks to eat there all the time. Why? Besides the food being delicious and just mouth watering (my favorite - the scallop tacos! every single time - not sure it's on the menu but ask for it!), but also because George & Nina and the rest of the crew take such amazing care of us. George is passionate about food, people and service. He lets us know when he has something delicious coming up on the menu so we can try it out. And if he feels something isn't right - he's not going to wait for you to say something.. he is very proactive! It truly feels like a family when we go in, we have such a great time :) Thanks George, keep up the amazing work, we are grateful for you.“
“Excellent food at a fair price in a friendly atmosphere. Most of my visits are for breakfast. I'm always in a hurry and they serve quickly. You feel like you are in a place where all the locals go. I intend to try their lunch menu and now hear they do dinners. Very affordable . Important to me since I am on Social Security. I highly recommend.“
“First experience and was very impressed. Filet mignon cooked exactly as requested with a lobster risotto topped with two scallops which was a perfect complement to the meal. Member of my table also got the A5 Wagyu and that experience alone was pretty insane. Our waiter Ted was very knowledgeable and provided great service. Expensive, but for their execution on the food and service it is well worth it in my opinion.“
“This was my first time at the Berry Tavern. We’ve been hearing all about it for a while now and decided to give it a try. Nicole is cute as a button and the sweetest person. We loved talking to her! The food was fantastic as well. We will absolutely be back!!“
