I recently visited Star Market in Dedham, and I have to say, it's a bit of a mixed bag. I've never had a bad experience with their service, and the food has always seemed fresh. I was checking out with a couple buddies of mine and we happened to be in the checkout lane of a young man named Avery Orlando. Avery was such a nice kid and was swift with our checkout process. He greeted us with a charming smile and asked about how we were doing. It almost felt like I was having a conversation with a long time friend. This out of all the Star Markets I find has the most variety, and the staff have always been helpful to me! Compared to Chestnut hill and West Roxbury, I find the produce better! No bruised fruit, many veggies the other stores don't carry! Salad section is great, Deli is helpful! I love the size and variety I get! I leave West Roxbury and drive a bit further to go to this store!
