“I ordered my daughters 6th birthday cake from La Casa Del Pandebono and it literally the best experience I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the custom cake beautiful and delicious, they provided a level of exceptional customer service that I didn’t even know existed. The “Tangled” cake included a beautiful edible gold crown as it’s center piece, and it was packaged separately. Despite my best efforts to handle it carefully, I accidentally broke it the night before the birthday party. I texted the owner asking if he has recommendations for me to reassemble it (knowing it was unlikely, but I was desperate). He immediately responded and asked for my address, letting me know he’d deliver a new one when he closed the store (I live in another town). I was shocked at his generosity and beyond grateful. As an expression of gratitude, a sent him an additional tip which he politely attempted to reject (I wouldn’t allow it…haha). In return, he delivered not only the grown, but an order of birria tacos and an empanada (which I was admiring when I went to pick up the cake) - literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot emphasize how touched I was by this experience. La Casa Del Pandebono is a rare gem - baked goods that are truly a work of art, and incredible food that is only surpassed by the unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life.”

“March 8th we had a retirement party catered from Stevie and gang at Sammys. Cold Cut Platter Assorted Calzone Chicken Boccoli and Ziti Sausage Potato Pepper and Onion Garden salad and dressing. Delivered to Saugus!!! Hot. Fresh. On time. Cost effective. Tasty!!!! Plentiful, we ran out of nothing with 50 adults, mostly men. 5 star job. ☆☆☆☆☆ Will use for the next gathering as well. “I have dined here on several occasions and have always found the service fast and warm, the environment inviting and, most importantly, the food is consistently exceptional. As an avid omnivore, I'm pleasantly surprised as to how often I find myself ordering some of the many vegetarian and vegan options out of sheer intrigue. I have yet to be disappointed, although I am usually one to nitpick my food endlessly. The coffee and tea are also clearly brewed with care and although they are both delicious on their own, the syrups they make in-house (honey and cherry/coriander being my current favorites) are wonderful add-ons. I would be remise if I did not also mention they have a "Dishpan" cookie on the menu that is not to be missed! Well worth a repeat trip if you're in the area or a detour if you're not.”

“La Piñata is open right in front of Maverick Square in Eastie with great cocktails and outdoor seating. Well priced authentic Mexican food too, that's coming from a fellow Mexican. With East Boston becoming SO gentrified and with more generic or "high end" restaurants pushing out local establishments, this is a delicious place to visit and support a local business.”

“If you are looking for an authentic Peruvian place you must try this hidden gem. Everything was absolutely delicious and affordable. The food came out fast fresh and flavorful. Coming from a person growing up with their grandmother cooking Peruvian food this is the closest I have ever come to her cooking. Kudos to the owner and their staff”
