Table/Couch configuration is customizable and Night Shift provided a few folding tables as well.My shower was in February and Valentines Day themed, I am *still* hearing from guests on how great the space was, how everyone enjoyed their drinks (& were so surprised Night Shift served more than just great beer!), and how wonderful Mike and the rest of the NSB team was!”
“We enjoy this restaurant tremendously-staff, selection of food and the ambiance are all exceptional. We were sad to discover that they have cut down their hours and are so short staffed that their 2 bartenders are tripleling as Bartenders. waiters and greeters. They are doing an astonishingly good job fulfilling all these demands. Apparently they are also shortstaffed in the kitchen since at present are only offering a quite limited menu of appetizers. It appears they will likely be squeezed out of their spot. For many of us this is quite a loss, I am sure we are not tge only ones that consider this restaurant the top brew bar in the Encore”

“I’m from New York where the street food is excellent I was visiting and wanted something other than American faire and Maria’s did not disappoint! The pupusas were hot, the steak is seasoned perfectly the fajitas made my mouth water. There is a a great selection of food and the staff is so nice. There are only three tables so to go it the ideal way to eat but I was lucky enough to be able to eat in I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

“So glad I stopped in I was skeptical because I haven't had a good Brazilian burger in while. They have Phenomenal burgers !! Loved everything about it. Owners make the burger Pattie's from scratch which was a huge plus. Ingredients were super fresh from the bun , lettuce tomato and so fourth. I got an X egg but the smash burger version and it was so good ! My partner got the x bacon again amazing. Haven't had a good Brazilian burger in a while. They also offer other varieties of burgers! They also offer smaller burgers for kids.”

“My aunt gave me her leftover fries I didn’t even order from here-so I got them after she finished her meal and couldn’t finish the fries-and it was a small so that tells you how big a small is-and let me tell you they were the BEST fries I’ve ever had. Not a single one was overdone or inedible or even ugly-they were all crispy and delicious-that’s a difficult thing to achieve-crispy fries 30 min after leaving the counter! If their fries are good I can only assume the rest is too! My aunts been a customer for years I only wish she shred her fries with me a long time ago!”

The ONLY downside was the chill from sitting by the window, it was pretty chilly, but that didn't ruin anything for us!”

“This is the place to be if you're into a Latino atmosphere in the greater Boston area. If you wanna dance reggae-tone or salsa or bachata, this is your place to be. Great turn out everyday I'm A regular here and the food is fantastic, my buddies come here every weekend with me and we plan on going again this weekend. We truly live a rumores lifestyle and we wouldn't have it any other way. We are their so often we get called "los gringos de rumores" no idea what that means but it's cool to feel welcomed by a new culture. They aren’t stingy with their portions either. I spent $24 on a large chicken lo mein that was stuffed to the brim, small spicy wings ( $7.50 for 4) and small regular wings ( $7.00 for 4).”

A while back, I fell down the rabbit hole of an r/Boston thread that debated where to get roast beef and Mike's ranked as one of the top places particularly for its authenticity and value (apparently, Redditors are staunch in their belief that North Shore places should be avoided, or anywhere else that requires a fork and knife to eat the sandwich). Anyway, we pulled up on our way to Costco and ... my expectations were not high. It seemed like a typical fried food joint right across the street from the Encore.* Well, this is a lesson to never judge a book by its cover because the sandwich was phenomenal. There's a reason why that sign looks super vintage, it's been around for decades. We got the super beef three way (BBQ, mayo, and cheese), and after the first bite, I wished we had each gotten our own sandwich. The onion roll was super chewy and pillowy, the beef tender, the sauces combining in perfect harmony. UGH. I'm not a beef person at all but I could've eaten the whole thing myself. If I'm in the area next time, I might take it to go - there's not much seating and you're just looking out at a parking lot and the street. PARKING: Just a warning that if you pull in from Broadway and park on the front-facing side, you may have to back out onto Broadway, which gets pretty busy. There are spots further along the other side. *I looked up later to find that Mike's was sold last year for $5.5 million to the same development group that owns the Encore. Hope it sticks around!”

They say they serve food, but I don't think it is true. Who cares? Drinks are 6 bucks and beers are 3 or 4, you can't beat it. The decor has not been updated in decades either. Good You don't find many dive bars like this, it is one of the best I've found in a while. I'm just sorry I didn't find it a decade ago. “The food is very good, and very fulfilling. The service is also good and the people are very nice. Last time I went and got a Pu Pu Platter, the Pu Pu Platter was very good. There were many types of appetizers in the Pu Pu Platter, such as crab rangoon, chicken wings, beef teriyaki, etc. I also tried the egg foo young, and it was scrumptious. Next time, I am going to bring my friends and family members over to this restaurant to order food.”

“I love the atmosphere here , I just went last Wednesday night and omg the steak was amazing , cooked to perfection medium rare, the mashed potatoes were nice and creamy with deliciously crunchy asparagus. My date got the salmon with the jasmine rice and all of the veggies. Simply to die for. Yum!!! We loved our server Alison, super bubbly and friendly. She made sure our drinks were always full. That shows a lot in the quality of service. The fireplace was the cherry on the cake ?”

“Went through the Drive thru and ordered 2 -12 pc fried ? chicken bucket specials that came with only 2 sides! The girl came over the speaker and said $66 and change! What I remember used to be only $20 each now costs $30 each! I guess it's been a long time since I enjoyed a KFC dinner! Food was hot upon arriving home, and tasted so good with that familiar taste we remembered. We had Cole Slaw and Mashed potatoes with gravy for our sides.”

“My aunt gave me her leftover fries I didn’t even order from here-so I got them after she finished her meal and couldn’t finish the fries-and it was a small so that tells you how big a small is-and let me tell you they were the BEST fries I’ve ever had. Not a single one was overdone or inedible or even ugly-they were all crispy and delicious-that’s a difficult thing to achieve-crispy fries 30 min after leaving the counter! If their fries are good I can only assume the rest is too! My aunts been a customer for years I only wish she shred her fries with me a long time ago!”
“We went here on a bingo night and on a seperate occasion we attended a friend's birthday party. The atmosphere is incredible! I didn't have anything to eat so I can't comment on the food, but the service was great as well.All in all I really enjoyed myself on both of the occasions I went here, so I have nothing to complain about ??♂️”

“This review is for the roast beef and roast beef only. A while back, I fell down the rabbit hole of an r/Boston thread that debated where to get roast beef and Mike's ranked as one of the top places particularly for its authenticity and value (apparently, Redditors are staunch in their belief that North Shore places should be avoided, or anywhere else that requires a fork and knife to eat the sandwich). Anyway, we pulled up on our way to Costco and ... my expectations were not high. It seemed like a typical fried food joint right across the street from the Encore.* Well, this is a lesson to never judge a book by its cover because the sandwich was phenomenal. There's a reason why that sign looks super vintage, it's been around for decades. We got the super beef three way (BBQ, mayo, and cheese), and after the first bite, I wished we had each gotten our own sandwich. The onion roll was super chewy and pillowy, the beef tender, the sauces combining in perfect harmony. UGH. I'm not a beef person at all but I could've eaten the whole thing myself. If I'm in the area next time, I might take it to go - there's not much seating and you're just looking out at a parking lot and the street. PARKING: Just a warning that if you pull in from Broadway and park on the front-facing side, you may have to back out onto Broadway, which gets pretty busy. There are spots further along the other side. *I looked up later to find that Mike's was sold last year for $5.5 million to the same development group that owns the Encore. Hope it sticks around!”

“My wife and I eat out often, but never really close to the city. I was at Encore for a couple of days exhibiting with our Christmas Decor business at the ICSC convention. Despite there were free subs at the convention from exhibitors, I chose to check out Frank and Nicks. Bar none, the best meatball sub I've ever tasted, and trust me I've had a lot from many places ! Service was great, with a short delay, I mean there were 25-30 people showing up for the 1/2 hour I was there.”
