“Excellent all around. The salad was a bit more ordinary, but the kale salad was really nice with a mix of flavors and hearty greens. The jerk chicken was moist and tender, and nicely seasoned. The chipotle chicken might even be better! Small flavorful tender bits all around. The mac and cheese was a bit lacking - with there was more cheese flavor to go around. The beans and rice was delicious. The nicest might have been the plantains; they were really not too sugary, but had a nice sheen on the outside and cooked beautifully. So good!“
“AMAZING delicious food. I've never had Jamaican food and they came to our elementary school picnic and wow, was it spectacular. Tender, perfectly cooked and deliciously flavored tofu, rice, vegetables, and mangos. My husband loved it too. I would highly recommend- even for (especially for) Jamaican food newbies!“

Very stripped down atmosphere, but there was ample seating.in booths, and the women working there were very friendly, and, charmingly, a bit shy. I was told that I needed to get there earlier in the day in order to have more choices of dishes. That said, read on...I got the boneless chicken stew over yellow rice, cabbage, chickpeas, and an excellent homemade green hot sauce. Food was excellent - flavorful, fresh, not greasy. I ate more than I should have because it was so good.. This will be a go-to for me when I'm in the Sourh End/Roxbury area.“
“We ordered fried turkey and fried goat with sauce on the side, and rice and beans. We also got a side of fried green plantains. Both plates came with a side of salad as well as fried green plantains. The containers were filled to the top, to the point that the rice was spilling over when I opened them. The food was really delicious! I could not stop eating. The plantains were crispy and well seasoned, really tasty by itself. Add some of the orange sauce to it and it takes it to the next level. The rice was really good as well, and both the fried goat and fried turkey were really crispy but still soft in the middle. Everything went perfectly with the sauce on the side. The only concern I have is that the turkey doesn't come with a lot of meat on the bones. But besides that everything was well seasoned and delicious. I would highly recommend!!“

“Great Jazz on Sunday night at 8 p.m. the people who prepared the meal very pleasant, there is a bar there and the person there was pleasant and friendly. The food good the fried plantain was nice and fish. Over all adequate space and a lot of people don't realize even me, even though I lived in Codman Square area but worked at FCAC for years there is functioning hall for parties or shower. As a alumni of FCAC the meeting with fellow workers was quite productive at this establishment great time held by all.“
“Been here at least six or seven times, and the food and service have been fantastic each and every time. Daniel the waiter is amazing, very helpful, personable and informative. The food is all absolutely delicious! Lamb chops are awesome, shredded beef is to die for, salads are incredibly fresh and flavorful. The empanadas and arepas are likewise all fantastic. We've tried pretty much all of them. My favorite is the shredded beef. I could eat at this place every day of the week for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy! Every member of the staff that we have encountered has been incredibly friendly and competent. They all seem to take pride in their work and care about the customer. This is the kind of restaurant I like to support. Great value for your money.“
“Great experience at a event for a family. Chester, the owner, did from soup to nuts. Decorating was on point very festive but so tasteful, getting the DJ Larry who was awesome, and providing the meal. The staff was very engaging without being intrusive and pleasant. The food was so good and plentiful. No one left empty handed unless they wanted to. The only downside was the parking and everyone found parking even if it was a little walk to the venue. This place is a must for good vibes and great food.“

“I celebrated my birthday here a couple weekends ago and it was FANTASTIC. Janice helped us in organizing the event and she was very flexible and understanding. At the day of the event Isaura was in charge of our table and she was the sweetest . I felt like home. The music was amazing and the food delicious. He asked if I like spicy and told me about the jerk pork. It was perfect. And he was helpful and nice. I won't order from some places, sad to say, because some are so rude and not helpful when you call an order in. And the staff here was friendly and said hello when I got there to get my food. I'll definitely go there again when I'm in that area.“

“I literally never write reviews but I just ordered from this place and the food was above and beyond! Sooooo good!!! Best Jamaican food I’ve ever tasted and the portions are huge for the price. I got the oxtail with rice and peas, steamed vegetables, fried chicken, and meat pie. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the meat pie crust but the filling was hella good. Fried chicken was delectable I was shocked. The oxtail was seasoned soooo well and they were huge but I think it cuda been a little more tender. They gave me sooo much gravy!! And the rice and peas was delicious (and I don’t even like rice and peas like that)! I’m so full right now and I haven’t even gotten through half the food. Definitely going to order from here again, they have themselves a fan <3“
