The quality of the product is top notch and honestly it's always made with love. It is family owned and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. they will gladly answer any questions you may have. One of the best places to go for food in Woonsocket hands down.“
“I've been going to Gene's since I was about 11, so 1981!!!! Of course, back then, it was for candy and soda, lol!! As I got older, I realized what a hidden gem it truly is! They have great subs and pretty much anything Italian. Not just the deli but stocked on the shelves as well. I don't make sauce because theirs is so good. Makes my life easier to boot! Thank you Gene's. Everyone who works there is very nice and wicked happy to help. Every time I go in, it brings back memories of walking to the pool and stopping at Gene's on our way there. The quality is 4-4.5 stars, if compared to the best sandwiches I’ve had in this price range. Easily twice as good as something like Panera at the same price (not that Panera is a deli, but they serve low quality sandwiches for $12-15).“
