Neoplitan style but finished with semolina, making it amazingly crispy but still some chewiness. The sauce had a good balance of flavor and the cheese these guys use are top notch. The owner is the best part of the whole place, super friendly and welcoming.“
“I cannot say enough good things about Cape Ann Lanes! We hosted our Welcome Event for our wedding here and it was an absolute blast. It provided a prefect, laid back atmosphere for our guests to get settled in ahead of the wedding and the out-of-towners loved trying candlepin for the first time. Everyone complimented the food, atmosphere and the excellent service. I told one of the servers that I was worried as the Bride that I’d get caught up and wouldn’t eat and she made sure to check on me and make sure that I was taken care of. Caitlin and Nick were wonderful to work with from beginning to end and could not have made it any better. Nick discussed the beer options and offered to brew a special beer for us and Caitlin sat with us several times to guide us through the process. Hosting a 70 person event would typically come with some stress or issues, but we can honestly say it was completely seamless, 100% stress free and an overall delightful time for us and our guests. Aside from our wedding, we’ve bowled here several times and always have a great time. We look forward to visiting again whenever we’re in the area!“

“I’ve picked up many times and tried delivery for the first time today. And was fantastic it came nice and hot! Chz steak wasn’t soggy and no cold fries!! Usually don’t eat out hate paying for cold soggy food. First time was a hit hopefully if I do it again it stays the same. Why I don’t mind if I pay a tiny bit more for better quality. And driver does better when food is fresh!! Impressed tonight again if you like chicken soup yes I know it’s a sub shop but it’s homemade and it’s fantastic!!“

“I might just be a simple man with a simple family. But my family and I think this place is a destination restaurant. We've had fish & chips all over - including New York City, Epcot, and Boston. But this unassuming restaurant astounded us with their fish and chips. Our server tells us that they get their fish fresh every morning, so that might have something to do with it. We will be coming back here for sure.“

“Beautiful pizza. Amazing taste and I had the sausage pizza and it was perfectly loaded with the sausage on top. I've never tried Delaney pizza but had it last night and it was excellent. Sauce is not sweet so make sure you know that. It is a fine made red pizza sauce with amazing and wonderful cheese and for the topping was a beautiful amount of sausage. Absolutely wonderful ! Service was great when I picked up pizza. ! Very nice people inside“
“I am a pizza fanatic. I am from Jersey and my family is from New York so good pizza is a MUST in my family. I hadnt found my good pizza spot in massachusetts yet but I now proudly can say that even though it is an hour from my house, I would GLADLY do the drive every single time to go grab some pizza from here. I ordered just a normal pepperoni pie for my family and a broccoli and cheese calzone and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD.
