Cocktail Bars near Groton

“This is our third visit to Groton Station House. We took a group of coworkers out to dinner. They had never dined here before. We all loved it. It was a busy Saturday night during prime dining hours. We had a friendly server. Drinks and meals were delicious. Most of the table ordered filet and rib eye. All cooked perfectly. We even saved room for dessert. The carrot cake was a generous portion and the crème brûlée was perfectly done. Lots of menu options for all to enjoy.“

“Great food and excellent martinis. We went for dinner early and we were able to get a table without a wait. It soon became very busy and lively with lots of people gathered around the bar. Our server was attentive and friendly and patient as we decided on what we wanted from the menu and extensive list of cocktails. Everything was hot and delicious and the drinks strong and flavorful. We enjoyed everything they had and will definitely return for another visit. The restaurant is rather small so we were lucky to get a table but it would be more difficult for large groups as the space isn't set up for large tables. A great place for drinks or a date night.“

“Excellent. I was excited that there was a vegetarian lunch menu. We got the veggie enchiladas and the california quesadilla, and both were great. I wish that more Mexican restaurants had such good vegetarian options. Both dishes were full of high quality veggies. The restaurant also had the best light fixtures that we’ve seen in a while.Kid-friendliness: Came in with two little kids. Went great had one high chair and one booster seat. Kids menu and crayons.“

“This is a classy looking place. I enjoyed my first visit here, recommended by local colleagues. Nice selection of fresh oysters and mine were Canadian, delicious on the shell. My entree was cod with panco crust, nicely prepared and presented, delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. “We only had French fries- which were excellent! But being a beer drinker - IPAs - there were lots of delightful and local options and the conversation with proprietor about the lineup was pleasant and interesting. The vibe ranks high. Enjoy!“

“Went there for a late lunch/early dinner. We were immediately seated, and someone immediately handed us chips and salsa. About two minutes later, our waiter came by to get our drink order. The waiter was great and was very attentive to our needs. The food came out quickly and hot. The service was wonderful, and everyone was very pleasant.“

“My fiancé and I stopped in yesterday for pizza and I had to write a review. People can be quick to complain and don’t always say the good. First, the restaurant was very busy while we were there and it was clear they were understaffed. I saw three people working the floor. One out front doing take out, one running the bar and one waiter working the floor. To top it off, there was a birthday party with about a dozen guests. Our waiter was outstanding. Taking orders, making drinks, bussing the tables, he handled the stress unbelievably well and was pleasant and funny. Our food was delicious and came out piping hot. None of them missed a step. We will definitely be back. Kudos to the team and management well done!“
