“Not from the area, but we went to a coffee roasting event and the owner recommended checking out Moody St. My friends and I first saw Amuleto when driving too Moody St. We all like Mexican, so agreed to try it. This place did not disappoint. They seemed short-staffed at that moment, but they waiter managed just fine. Great food and drink selection and my friends are vegetarians and had no issues choosing their lunch or apps. Overall, the place is really nice inside and the food was great!I'm down in the New Bedford area and we have our fair share of great restaurants, but I would come back here again, with more friends.“
“I like this place. My husband and I went there for Valentine's Day. They were super busy. We made a reservation for a table online, however, when we came in our table was not ready because they were too busy. And then they had a line after us. But the manager somehow resolved the situation and we did not wait for so long. The service was great, and our server was nice. We ordered some meat and meatballs that we never tried before. The meatballs were supposed to be varied, however, it tasted all the same in my and my husband's opinion. It was not an issue. Everything was great. We had a great time and enjoyed the food.“
“It's absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in all of Massachusetts. The food is incredible. I've tried everything on the menu and have been amazed at the quality of the food. If you're looking for a place to impress your date or want to sit down with friends and family, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff are friendly and professional, and the desserts are to die for. I give this restaurant an A+“
“This was my first time trying this restaurant and the food was delicious and melt in my mouth feeling. My friend had been here before and we had the same waitress as the friend had used before. The staff was friendly and helpful with any of the needs we needed. There was also a space to eat outdoors if we wanted to and had various music playing as we ate and nice to hear. Had a great first visit and will come back to try something else once again.“
“After checking in the hotel in Waltham, Massachusetts the front desk provided a list of all, and I mean all the restaurants in the area. In settling for a choice we chose Charcoal Guidos on Moody Street. Fearful that a Friday night would be very busy, we were pleasantly surprised to be given a table right away. Service was prompt, professional and pleasant from the attendant providing water and then Juan who provided great service through the meal. Arancini was tasty, mussels in a tomato broth pleasing, and the gnocchi with a bolognese plentiful and very good. Overall just a very good meal from start to finish. Kudos to Juan for making sure we were happy with our meal without perching at our table the whole time. Recommend this place for anyone seeking excellent Italian food in a pleasant setting.“
“Discovered this gem of a restaurant tonight and thoroughly enjoyed everything we had, minus an odd dessert. The menu is eclectic, with an emphasis on Caribbean cuisine with French accents. We had the j*** chicken and the pork chops. Both were moist, tender, with fabulous sauces and excellent accompaniments. The dessert sounded great but turned out to be a peeled apple doused with creme anglais and coconut topping. Looking forward to trying brunch next.“
“Great service with great servers, food was pretty awesome and drinks were great. The best thing was the atmosphere, the decor and mood was very asthetic and it would be great for dates or just hanging outKid-friendliness: Probably not the best place for kids under 11, it would ruin the vibe for others“
“Cool atmosphere, waiter was very helpful in recommending things off the menu with it being our first time there. French onion soup and the Cuban steak tip dinner I had were delicious. My girl got the shrimp tacos and loved them. Very good experience we will be back“
“Had to make a reservation two months in advance, but happy to report that Tonino was well worth the wait! The interior is lovely—very cozy with classy decorations. The pizza is available for take-out, but the pasta is only available for dine-in, so we tried as many pastas as we could stomach. Unfortunately, the special advertised on the wall wasn't available, so we ended up getting:- Taleggio Cappelletti ($26): This dish only comes with 8 cappelletti, so the portion size is more akin to an appetizer, but this was my favorite of the pastas that we ordered. Rich, cheesy filling with a subtly sweet sauce. Delicious.- Lumache ($26): Second favorite. Very al dente (borderline crunchy; too al dente for my friend, but I liked the bite). Some tangy notes from the creme fraiche. Portion size was better than the taleggio cappelletti, but I wish there were more or larger cuts of mushroom.- Chitarra & Clams ($28): Wouldn't get this again. Very peppery, and the flavor didn't pack a punch like the other two pastas. Chitarra wasn't al dente, and the clams were quite small. Breadcrumbs were good.- Tiramisu ($14): Also available for take-out but had to get it because it's their signature dessert. I was in heaven. The mascarpone was runnier than that of other tiramisus that I've had, but I liked it like that. Very smooth and creamy. Loved the sporadic bits of salt too. There were two servers who waited on us throughout the night. Both were friendly. There's complimentary still or sparkling water, which was a plus. 5% kitchen appreciation fee, which is higher than the usual 3%.Overall, highly recommend this place. I think it is my favorite Italian place in Boston now!“
“The staff at Brassica are so knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. They bump the best playlists, joke with you, discuss taste preferences, honor allergies, and are actually excited to provide a good dining experience. It's truly a neighborhood gem that I want to gatekeep so badly but will not because everyone deserves this level of stellar dining and the team here deserves to succeed! The food is funky with a heavy focus on fermentation along with honing culinary techniques from around the world without trying to put out “Asian food” or “Latin cuisine” or “fusion”, just their own creations. They make spirits in house (turns out I can like vermouth!) and source wines from places most others restaurants don’t dare to cover. It’s where I bring all my visitors if I can snag a table!“
“Such a unique and special experience and meal. I went in without a reservation and was able to get a seat. Coolest restaurant menu I’ve ever seen, annotated with so much meaning and history behind every ingredient and dish. I ordered two drinks, a main, and a side. Everything was delicious. After eating, I spent some time sipping a drink on the couch/lounge area looking at their books. An immersive cultural experience. I will be back. You can tell this place has so much love and energy behind it.“
“This place is great and the food was fantastic. We are very much a foodie family with different tastes so we were looking for a place that would hit everyones tastebuds. We arrived and departed by lyft since we were staying at a local hotel(there is a designated pick-up/drop—off area which helps a lot). They have a variety of different eateries, I think two bars, a couple of huge screens which that night was showing the awards. For a cold Sunday night, it was pretty lively. The best part in my opinion (besides the food) was that you can scan the QR code and order straight from your table for anyone of the places and either do counter pickup or have it delivered to you. The app works wonderfully and seamless even with multiple orders; you receive a text when your order is ready. The kids ordered some donuts (not pictured) from Union Square which they enjoyed. We honestly didn’t have any complaints.“
“Some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The fried chives were so good. The curries were so different and delicious. The shrimp and pomelo salad along with the green papaya was tasty. They have a bar opening soon and I can wait to check it out!Vegetarian options: Quite a few options to make things vegetarian or that are vegetarian.“
“A past Boston local first introduced me to Giulia by donning it the only Italian restaurant they’d go to on that side of the water. So there’s that. Not only did they very kindly fit us in on a Friday night, the food and service was absolutely excellent. Top notch food and drink, great vibes. Will absolutely be back. Special shout-out to their incredible co-owner who very kindly sent me my Project Paulie hat I left there by accident. You guys are the truly the best! THANK YOU!“
“This was such a fun and adventurous activity! The food was delicious, and it was exciting guessing what you were eating. The drinks were excellent, and the servers and host did a great job. The atmosphere looked wonderful, dark room, with small colored lit faux candles.“
“The food here is absolutely amazing and definitely worth the wait. Expect a wait time of 30 minutes to an hour due to its popularity, but it's well worth it. It's a pretty small place but can seat a lot. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Personally, I tried the Swing Pork Belly, Yo-In-Style Ramen Noodles, Beef and Enoki Cabbage Soup, and Black Fish Fillet with Szechuan Pickles. The Swing Pork Belly with its incredible garlic sauce and the Beef and Enoki Cabbage Soup with the perfect amount of spice and meat were standouts. If I could dine at Mountain House for every meal, I definitely would.“
“I've been several times and I've never been disappointed. There are a few things I would change on the menu if I was in charge, but they execute what they offer very well. Would love to have a bit more vegetarian creativity, but even the plain "cheese enchiladas" are amazing. The ambience both indoors and out (when the weather is good) is great. All in all I think Acitron is an example of a city-class restaurant that happens to be conveniently located here in my town. Lucky to have them.“
“From start to finish it was amazing. The drinks and food were delicious. Atmosphere was so unique and you felt like you were truly in another place. The bartender we had was so different than anyone we've ever met. His food and drink recommendations were spot on.“
“I was dejected from having the displeasure of a quite frankly awful experience at a putrid spanish restaurant down the street. I had decided to come here in a pinch to satiate my growing hunger, and it did not disappoint. The waiter was helpful and nice, and the environment was quite lovely. I was seated in a booth with my group, and I ordered the New york Bianca with Italian sausage and hot honey. The pizza was absolutely delicious and I couldn't recommend more. The other pizzas looked great as well.I can not speak on the appetizers as we did not order any. However, they looked good too.5/5“
“Jinny’s has been our favorite pizza since they opened. Everything is amazing from the pizzas to the appetizers and the service is 10/10. The pepperoni pizza and caesar salad are a must! The ‘mike’s hot honey’ is great added on to the pizza. Don’t forget to add a buttermilk ranch dippin’ sauce for the crust. We do both dine in and take out. Seating is pretty limited so plan ahead. No reservations. Worth the wait! They move quick too.“
“As per usual my favorite bar wish it was closer to where I live! They also have more small plate options which is great! Their attention to detail with music, cocktails, glassware, knowledge of many things never goes unnoticed and a great amount of cat statues around the room! As well as beautiful murals and Star Wars memorabilia. Can't wait to go back when I lived in Massachusetts I was there way more often! Impeccable service wonderful to watch the bartender move flawlessly they were from Arkansas awesome style! Music was phoenix, say anything, the strokes, Radiohead etc. they also have a special pop up nerd boi Monday? where they have board games, big screen video games and cocktails inspired by all the cool things!“
“This place is a hidden gem for comfort food. Hats off to the chef who created the Pretzel Crusted Chicken! It was an absolutely delicious dish, Kudos! You can taste the prep they put into it, it’s very flavorful. The portion sizes did not disappoint. I was happy to have leftovers for the next day, it was that good. I surely will be a returning customer ☺️“
“An incredible Uruguayan restaurant! The menu is delicious and the presentation is incredible. The service is excellent, with so much attention and care. And the restaurant is impeccably decorated and feels so cozy! The owners are so sweet and kind, ensuring that you'll have a wonderful time. A great place for dates, group dinners, catching up with friends, or events. Their drink menu is extensive and full of delicious options. Can't wait to return!“
“Our new favorite joint!! The portions are generous and cocktails are on point. Max and Chelsea are amazing humans and it’s evident the love they’ve poured into this restaurant. Dining there feels like coming home… minus the family drama/judgment and with the tastiest, most nurturing home cooked meal. We are so happy to have this neighborhood gem so close to us.“
“I went to see Pet Cobra, The Roscoes and Vern Matz perform this past Sunday (all incredible artists). It was my first time at the Jungle and loved the vibe. Bartender was nice and I ordered a kimchi chicken sandwich, which was surprisingly so tasty. Looking forward to coming back!“
“I had heard a ton a really good things about the food and especially the vodka sauce so I was super excited to try the food and it did NOT disappoint! Our server was very nice and attentive! We did go on the earlier side so it wasn't very busy but they did have good music playing and it wasn't too loud which we appreciated because we were able to chat across the table without feeling like we had to be too loud! Very excited to go back!!“
“They have lots of interesting dishes that you don’t usually find in a sushi restaurant in the US. The location is also great, with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. They also have metered street parking nearby.Parking: Paid street parking from Mon/Sat during the day. Evenings and Sundays are free.“
“On a business trip in the Concord area and checked out 80 Thoreau. One thing to note is that this place is tricky to find. It looks like it doesn't exist when you get there but it's right next to the eye glass store. It's on the second floor so you need to take a hallway with stairs which is why it was hard to find. Once I did eventually find it, the overall experience was great. This is more of a fine dining restaurant so the prices are expensive, however, the food was amazing. They have a limited menu so it makes it easy to choose and everything was very very fresh. On top of the food, the service was great! The bartender was very very friendly and our waiter was attentive and gave great recommendations! Would recommend trying this place out if you are in the concord area“
“There's lots of good Thai food around Boston but Thonglor is my favorite! Every time I take a new bite I literally think the words, "This is cooked to perfection" LOL... like the Ratatouille critic... Such a dependable delivery place, I try to order something new each time and every single dish has been delicious! I can tell from photos that the dine-in plating looks beautiful, and I think even in the take-out boxes you can tell there is lots of care put in. :) I love the pad kee mao, khao pad tomyum, and mango sticky rice. The curry puffs and keaw wan gai are also great!“
“Our server Jack was just wonderful. The owner also came over and helped us pick out wine and really nice. We felt very well taken care of and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was delicious, but quite pricey so I would save this for a special occasion. But it's a must!!“
“Top of the line Indian cuisine, presented artfully. The smoked whiskey (Dhundari Madira) was an experience. The bone-in Tariwala Mutton Curry is succulent, never had better. The garlic naan is useful to mop up the plate. I look forward to coming here every time I travel to Bedford.“
“A neighborhood hidden gem? A surprisingly good restaurant with hearty, delicious food. The Detroit style pizza was unique and the corner crust is absolutely to die for!Furthermore, the grapefruit tequila sour had a cinnamon flare that ingeniously balanced the bitterness. Why not 5 stars? Perogi’s were only okay, they were oily and not crispy. As for value, the bill was around $80 for: 2 mains, 1 app, 1 soda, 1 cocktail and a 20% tip. Slightly more than anticipated but the food and drink were very good.In all, 4.5/5. Definitely try it out!“
“We loved everything about this place. The food was spot on. Our server, Jaysa was friendly, attentive and had wonderful recommendations. We were very impressed with the staff dynamic. If you are looking for great Peruvian food and feel good vibes-this is the spot! We will be “
“the staff is nice, and their food and drinks are good I like their portions, small but perfect for sharing and also tried a few different dishes, kind of tapas style, wich I loved tapas style restaurant, also their Asian American fusion is nice and quite “
“You would never expect this to be such a cool restaurant from the outside, it is sort of hidden in a parking lot behind some other building…. But once you walk in the door you will love the charm and warmth. Everything about dinner was perfect. We had mussels, burgers, fish & chips, short rib pie and they the bread pudding desert. The service was outstanding…. Cannot beat a good waitress who brings a great attitude and had awesome recommendations. We will be back soon!“
“Great addition to the neighborhood. Worth anywait time. The staff was very friendly knowledgeable, gave great recommendations. I started with a vanilla ice coffee. So good. Not to sweet at all. For my meal I got a special which was gouda grits, cant remember the name if the steak tips and a over easy egg. When I tell you this is so mouth watering. All the flavors together was perfect. The owner even came around talking to patrons which I felt gave it an even more home feeling touch.“
“This place is so special. The concept is a BYOB make-your-own cocktail bar. You bring your own liquor but they provide everything else to make a list of cocktails. You can choose 3 out of the different categories and you can stay as long as you long bc there's no turnover. The staff is incredibly welcoming and it truly makes you feel at home. You can even bring your own food to have with your cocktails!! It is a STUNNING venue and it's super intimate but also vibes and perfect for friends or dates. The only thing is, it's kinda hard to find in the plaza but if you enter and go all the way down, you should see the bright signs welcoming you in! The actual cocktails were all intentional, well thought out, and delicious. The owner creates a journey for you with an opener, a deeper cocktail, and then an ending. If you don't fully love your drink, you can ask for a sweetener or ask the owner to fix something up for you. You can add any spirit you want to the cocktails to make it your own. Overall, this is probably one of my favorite things I've ever done in Boston. I can't give it enough praise! Thank you so much and I'll be back!“
“I am LOVING this place, after having gone twice in two weeks - it was THAT good! The menu appears to be somewhat standard Northern Italian fare, but the thought and preparation given to the food (and drinks) is clearly evident. The Chicken Milanese was perfectly cooked and one of the best I’ve ever eaten outside of Italy. The accompanying arugula salad with cannellini beans was the perfect side.Every meal my friends and I had (i.e. Chicken Milanese, roasted chicken, risotto; small plates of the meatballs, fried seafood, and roasted beets) was delicious, and were not easily pleased. The only suggestion I would make is that the roasted beets dish was a particularly small portion, but I won’t quibble.I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how professional the waitstaff were. The first time we went, our waitress (whose name I can’t recall) was always available when we needed her, and was not intrusive at all. The other waiter, Brendan, was very affable and attentive, but in no way bothersome. This place is a winner! I hope it remains that way.“
“Everything was excellent from start to finish. The decor is cozy and welcoming as you would expect from a nice neighborhood bar. The service was excellent: friendly and knowledgeable. When i saw the menu, I at first thought, "Polish and Portuguese food? Really?" But it works. I had buffalo wings to start, Pierogi for my main, and doughnuts for dessert. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Top it all off with a thorough but not overwhelming list of cocktails, craft beers, and wine, and it made for a perfect dinner date.Highly recommended.“
“Little Big Diner serves up a symphony of flavors in their spicy tan tan ramen. By swapping chili ground pork for the decadent chashu pork, akin to pork belly, they’ve elevated the dish to a celestial level. The cloudy, flavorful broth dances on your taste buds, while the melt-in-your-mouth pork and perfectly balanced noodles complete the gastronomic masterpiece. For a taste of the best ramen Boston has to offer, Little Big Diner is a must-visit culinary oasis.“
“Amazing seafood dishes and cocktails as usual! The best service. We were impressed by the Caesar salad with lemon and anchovies, and the crab Rangoon dip is always a favorite. The “two fish” cocktail in a pitcher with two straws is delicious and fun!“
“Rewriting my review because the place has changed hands and changed menus. Pleasantly surprised to see that brunch was still on the menu, and even more pleasantly surprised to see these awesome Indian brunch fusion dishes. We got the butter chicken eggs Benedict and the masala chai French toast. It was super fun and delicious, definitely considering becoming a regular. My only regret is that the portions have shrunk somewhat since the previous owners.“
“From the front of the house to the kitchen Krave is second to none . Family owned , up scale, personable. My wife and I love $8 margaritas easy parking and great service. From the owner to the staff Krave is the hidden gem of Burlington,Woburn,Winchester,Lexington area and is atop of our list! Cheers!“
“Wonderful tastes, gracious hosts, and beautiful live Indian music when we were there. The menu includes many Nepalese dishes which are a particular treat. The room is unremarkable. The customers are relatively diverse and, on the weekend evenings, there are often large multi-generational families dining together.“
“Located upstairs in Bow Market, Nook is a great little cocktail bar with really cozy decor/ambiance and a diverse menu of drinks. Service was pretty quick and the server came around occasionally throughout the night to ensure we were satisfied which was a nice experience. The seating situation isn't particularly plentiful, but we were lucky enough to snag a table as some folks were leaving in the corner of one of the booths. The drink variety they had was very nice and reasonably priced - I would gladly get anything they have listed the next time I'm in the area. If you're in the mood for some post dinner drinks, Nook is definitely a strong contender near Union Square. Looking forward to returning one day in the future when I'm in the area again!“
“Last Friday was my first time at saloon and I am already planning to come back. I was in awe of the busy atmosphere, the music was good, the drinks were good and the Caviar French onion dip was delish! Our server was great, I forget their name but they gave wonderful recommendations and were very kind!“
“Got the aged ribeye. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. The service was great as well, very attentive. I am in a sling because of a shoulder surgery and the waiter offered to cut the steak without being asked. The restaurant is gorgeous as well. Definitely a nice place to bring people you care about.Had a great time!“
“Had a delicious citrus-y fizzy cocktail to start. Dinner was Schnitzel, with mushroom sauce, warm potato salad....very generous servings, cooked to perfection. Finished with a dark beer. Everything was just perfect. Love the comfortable homey atmosphere and our server was great.“
“My family has been eating Nirvana once per month, on average, for the last 9 years. The food is perfect- the dishes have amazing flavour profile, chutneys are delicious. We have always had a great experience. I am so thankful for the chefs at Nirvana!“
“Got takeout. Good food takes time, so be patient-- The wait is worth it. The lobster raviolis $29 were stuffed with lobster. The sauce was delicious with perfectly cooked portobello mushrooms. Spumoni $13 was delicious as well. The mini ciabatta that accompanied the entree was crispy on the outside and soft & chewy on the inside--perfect. The restaurant was packed on a Mon evening. Definitely check this place out. You won't be disappointed.“
