“My husband and I came here on a date night and we loved it! The ambiance is cozy and the waitress we had was very polite and accommodating, even though we came on a night with bad weather. I got the queen of hearts cocktail which was quite good. We also got the hummus as an appetizer which was super tasty. For mains, we got the chicken kabob plate and Atlantic grilled salmon. They were both great, but the salmon was amazing! For dessert we had the baklava and we both thought it was the best baklava we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back and recommend to others!“

I’ll list our orders below: - Periwinkle special: Two eggs (any style), choice of 3 meats, home Fries or baked beans, choice of toast & 1 pancake or one slice of French toast I got my eggs over easy, grilled English muffin, home fries, a pancake, double bacon and grilled Portuguese chourico. Everything was very tasty! Loved how crispy/crunchy both the English muffin and bacon were. But the standouts were definitely the chourico and the home fries. Both were fantastic.. great flavor and the home fries are cooked with caramelized onions (which I love!) -Smoked Salmon Benedict :English muffin topped with two poached eggs, smoked salmon & hollandaise sauce (comes with home fries, beans or fresh fruit on the side) . My daughter said this was amazingly delicious! Perfectly poached eggs, creamy buttery hollandaise, grilled English muffins, salmon was tender with a nice Smokey flavor.. paired beautifully with the rest of the dish. The decor is nautical themed.. there are a bunch of little tables and a long bench (with pillows) along the front wall. Cute, clean and cozy.. little hand written signs throughout, with one listing their muffins of the day. (I believe todays offerings were corn, blueberry and chocolate chip). Waitress was super friendly and attentive. I have to make a special mention of the prices.. it is such a good deal! Everything we got (including coffee) it all only came to 25 dollars total (that’s with tax too!).. given the portion sizes and quality of food, that’s an insane bargain. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!“

“Located within a gas station, all the girls working behind the counter were very friendly and offered great suggestions about what coffee flavors and combinations they can make. We ended up going with 2 medium regular iced coffees, one with a Cinnamon Bun flavor and the other Irish Creme I think. Unfortunately, it was later in the afternoon and all their donuts were gone.Goes to show you that if you want their donuts then you need to get there early!“

“This is a great Margarita bar to start or end your night in downtown Amesbury. The staff was great and offered suggestions if a question ever arose. The food was good, but the price point seemed a little high for the offering. I don't want to give the wrong impression, the food was delicious, and 4 dollars for a taco and 10 dollars for a burrito is on par for the going rate, considering the price of things lately, but in certain areas, it feels like the customer is being nickel and dimed. For example, the pork belly bite (4.00) and the chorizo bomb (5.00), both were delicious, but you are only getting one piece for that price. For that price, you may purchase them once, but once you have tried them, you probably won't be getting them again. Don't get me wrong, they are delicious, it's just a bit much for the price. Though, it is nice not to have to buy an appetizer for 20 something dollars and not have to finish an entire plate of something you just want to try. The margaritas I had were great, the El Jefe was on the sweeter side, and the camp fire was fantastic with a smokey after taste. Outside of the pricing, my only complaint with the food would be that the cheese on my burrito wasn't melted. Whether that has to do with the cheese being used, or maybe the burrito needed to be on the griddle a little longer, or maybe just held back in the kitchen a little longer to let the heat go through the burrito, who knows, it was delicious nonetheless. I want to make it clear, the food was delicious, but gave the food 3 stars for the price. I got a burrito(3 little pigs), 2 tacos(one was steak), chips and salsa, 2 margaritas, a pork belly bite, and a chorizo bomb, with a 25% tip (which I felt was deserved) was just under a hundred dollars (100$). I got 3 extra sauces (Pico de Gallo, fire sauce, and salsa Verde). I had a great time there and will be back.“
